Chapter 3 - Empty Bed

It was a great night for Al and Hailee. They were both cuddled under the blankets. Hailee was Al's stress reliever. Even though she is a famous hollywood star she knew how to handle her relationship with Al, knowing it could be everywhere on social media but she still managed to keep it lowkey.

Al's POV

I woke up at the sound of my phone buzzing. I checked it and there were lots of notifications. I ignored it cause today was the day I'm taking Hailee out and I don't want any interruptions. My girlfriend was sleeping soundly i kissed her like i did every morning then slowly getting up and went downstairs.

Hailee's POV

I opened my eyes slowly searching for warmth but failed as I looked Al's not here again. I frowned knowing he went to work and forgot our date. Tears started to fall down my cheeks. I thought this would be our day but still he chose his work than our date I was looking forward to. I shrugged it off and got up. I wore my fluffy slippers and went downstairs to get some breakfast. Suddenly I heard sounds from the kitchen and I smell coffee. As I arrived in the kitchen I saw Al cooking breakfast. My heart melted at the sight of him. His back was facing me and I just stood there watching him. When he turned around he almost jumped knowing I scared him. " Good morning beautiful.!" He said happily and wow he is in a mood for this. " Good morning love." I greeted. He pulled out a chair for me to sit and gave me a coffee. Still he's the sweetest. " How was your sleep?" He asked while preparing the plates. " It was okay and great knowing you're here." I gently answered. " Here have some pancakes with maple syrup and butter. Bacon and eggs too. Oh and I prepared you sliced fruits for your dessert. Rich in vitamins." He said joyfuly and kissed my forehead. How I wish we could do this always. We ate our breakfast normally and he kept me smiling with his words. Last time he did this was back when he was still courting me. Flirting at me and I flirted back. We didn't notice we sat there for hours as he checked the clock it's already 9 am.

I went to our room to shower as he again did the dishes. Then when he was finished he took a shower too. I wore a casual clothes white plain shirt and just pants . I actually didn't know where Al's taking me so I just kept it simple like I usually do. I hope he didn't bring his phone with him. I hate interruptions during dates.

Al's POV

After I finished my shower I wore plain white tshirt with a brown jacket and black pants. I wanted this day to be amazing for Hailee and it's been a while since i took her out on a date. We got into mu car and drove off to the city where we could spend our time together.
