Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
"I don't think she's going to want to see you as soon as she opens her eyes," Someone bitterly sassed.
A voice that I'd recognize in a heartbeat now spoke, sending chills down my spine; "I don't see why you don't like me now, you don't have a reason not to."
There was a pressure on my chest for a moment, then it was gone. I finally forced my eyes to flutter open and almost immediately went into a state of shock when I saw the hospital surroundings that held me captured.
The bed was in a slightly sitting up position, an IV stuck in my arm, and some medicine pumping through it.
"Bella," Luke sighed in relief, coming to the side of me with a worried smile on his beautiful face. Casey rolled her eyes, leaning back against the wall on the opposite side of the room. Luke carefully hugged me, pulling away too quickly.
"Why am I in a hospital," I croaked.
Luke handed me a small paper cup filled with water, I took a sip then put it down on the table beside me.
"You passed out and we were all worried, you were hallucinating before you did. We called the doctor and they told us-" Luke rushed on, but was soon cut off my Casey.
"Geez, leave her alone. She's overwhelmed."
I wanted to yell at her and tell her not to make Luke stop talking because I liked hearing him talk and it made my head hurt a lot less than when she spoke. Luke frowned, giving Casey a dirty look before turning back to me and grabbing my hand.
"You okay?"
I nodded.
"Good," He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from my face. Casey loudly groaned, directing our attention of her in perfect timing to see her roll her eyes. "Can I help you?" Luke asked.
Before the devil herself could answer, Ashton walked in with Calum and Michael.
Casey batted her eyes at Ashton, walking over to him. I wanted to puke when they shared a small kiss, but the barf bag on the side of the bed didn't end up coming in handy.
"Yay, you're awake." Michael cheered, walking over to me. He held out a half drank cup of iced coffee. "We didn't know you were awake, want the rest of mine?"
I laughed slightly, shaking my head. "No thanks, but I wouldn't mind getting out of here."
I carefully sat myself up more.
"No can do," Ashton said with a small smile.
"Why?" I whined like a two year old. The boys exchanged a look before turning back to me.
I knew something serious was going to be said and I wasn't up for the little bitch to be in here listening, even though-somehow-she probably knew and had something to do with it.
"Before you tell me, can you make her leave?" I reached my hand up and pointed at Casey. She looked fake as fuck when she put her hand on her chest and asked "why?"
Ashton nicely got his girlfriend to exit the room and then, they all sat around me.
"So, the doctors said you over-dosed. There was a lot of medication pumping through your blood when you passed out. They're unsure of how the medicine affected you differently, since it was only pain relievers." Ashton spoke. "They said pain relievers immediately cause, uh-death when too many are taken...and that's kinda why we figured you took them. Luke found the bottle next to you, it said it was for pain killers, but the doctors are saying otherwise. I don't know what it was, but they caused you to hallucinate and we all believe it's not safe to let you leave yet, there's clearly something going on."
My head hurt from all the information that was just thrown at me. I sighed, my face flushing with embarrassment.
I didn't take any pills, but they wouldn't believe me if I said that since I was hallucinating.
What if Casey did it?
I know she was there with the stupid little girl when I came downstairs to see what the noise was...she was there.
"Don't let Casey, or Ashton, back in this room well I have to stay here and I won't put up a fight." I finally managed out. I didn't look at Ashton, just Michael, Luke, and Calum.
"You know what, fuck you too Bella." Ashton yelled, storming out of the room,
