Calum's POV

I heard foot steps stomp across the living room floor. Assuming the conversation was over and the girls were going in different directions, the four of us walked into the room.

Casey sat on the couch with her feet up on the coffee table and some bridal show on. I looked over to Ashton who just shrugged.

Bella whipped open the front door, moving her foot to step outside.

"Where are you going?" Luke asked, running over to her and grabbing her arm.

She turned around, tears clearly falling down her cheeks. I walked over to her, pulling her in for a hug but she immediately pulled back.

"Please, just, you guys stay-stay here. I-I'm going...home."

"Have fun sis," Casey chimed in from the couch. I was starting to get bad feelings about Casey, I think I hate her.

Bella shook her head, looking down quickly.

"Ashton!" A small voice yelled from upstairs. Ash was quick to jog upstairs to Jasmine.

Bella walked further into the house, towards Casey.

"Please, stay away from Ashton. He-he may not see it, but I know that you're here for all the wrong reasons. Don't hurt him Casey, please just don't." Bella bit her lip, her chin quivering slightly as she turned back towards to door.

"Let me give you a ride home." I offered.

She sighed, but gave in.

It made me feel really good that Bella knew she could trust me. She usually opened up to me and that made me happy, maybe I would get some answers in the car.

I glanced at Luke, making sure he was okay with it...Maybe he rather bring her home...but he gave me a reassuring look before walking over to Bella and giving her a quick kiss on the forehead and side hug.

We walked out in the rain to the car, jumping inside. I started the engine and took off down the street.

The car was silent, just the noise of the rain drops hitting the window outside were heard.

"I don't think I'll be able to, um, see you guys anymore." Bella mumbled as we stopped at a blurred red light.

"Why?" I questioned, looking over at her with sadness clear in my eyes.

She bit her lip, looking down at her lap, but it was clear she wanted to cry. "I don't want to stand in the way of anything and frankly, I'm just not strong enough to be around Casey. It sounds stupid, I know, but she's really, uh...mean. She's an ass to me and I'm not tough enough to just stick it out and listen to her. I know that if she ends up breaking Ashton's heart it will be my fault because I backed away and didn't do anything, but I have to be selfish...I can't deal with her." I frowned, a car beeping at me since I hadn't realized the light changed colors. I rolled my eyes and drove.

"Bella, if anything happens between them it wouldn't be your fault. Not seeing us wouldn't help you-it would t help anyone. Maybe you just shouldn't see Casey, but be with us..don't push us away Bella, you can't." I pulled over to the side of the street just so I could turn to face her, just to show how serious I was.

She leaned the side of her head against the window, tears streaming down her face but she looked down to try and hide them.

"Maybe I should go back-go back to A-America. I'll stay with Anthony, maybe."

"No. No, I won't let you leave. We're here. You need us and you know that and we need you more than you could imagine. Even Ashton needs you." I grabbed her hands, pulling her closer to me so she wasn't leaning against the window.

"I wish he needed me, Calum. I really wish he did, but he doesn't. No one does. None of you do!" She shook her head, "I'd be tired of me too if I were you and I swear, I swear I'm not trying to be dramatic and I'm not trying to-to annoy you guys I just don't know what to do anymore....i really don't, I'm sorry. so, so sor"

"Shh," I cut her off, pulling her head towards my chest, "Bella, calm down. Its all in your pretty little head, I promise. None of its true. Is Casey telling you this stuff-" I suddenly tensed.

All the things she's been saying since tour, they never made sense to me. Couldn't she just see how much we cared. But she's so fragile, someone had to be telling her this stuff to make her think it...it only made sense.

She barely nodded, letting out a small sob. "I-I try not to listen, but she's horrible. She makes me feel so weak, Calum. She doesn't want Ashton, she doesn't love him. I Know she doesn't, but he wouldn't believe me and she knows it's bothering me..."

Things made sense now, well at least more than before and I wanted to cry with Bella because I felt bad...but she wasn't staying home alone and she wasn't moving to America and it was my-our-job to take all those shitty thoughts out of her head.

"Let's go home." I mumbled, slowly letting go of Bella. She wiped her eyes, giving me a sad smile and tiny nod.

We got to Bella's house and she didn't bother to abject when I came in with her and took of my jacket and sat on the couch.

"I'm going to go take a shower," She mumbled softly. I patted her knee and nodded. Bella stood, quietly disappearing up the stairs.

I took out my phone and made a group call to Luke and Michael telling them to stay here with Bella and I. I basically explained everything and they were here way before Bella even shut off the shower.

"They made a date for the wedding," Michael shook his head, seating himself by me on the couch as soon as he stepped in.

"It's soon," Luke added, "Soon as in two weeks..."

My eyes widened, then anger filled me. "I'm
Not going going. Nope. No way in hell."

Michael lightly pushed my shoulder, "He's our best mate, we have to go. Luke already made it clear to Ashton that he wouldn't go and I thought the lad was gonna punch him again."
