[Already on Chapter 21...damn]
I got to my apartment at ten in the morning. I stepped in, tears built up in my tired eyes.
I realized that I should probably enter and go put my suitcase away. I brought it to my room and began unpacking. I got to my make up case, opening it so I could empty the things out that didn't belong in there; deodorant, my tooth brush, etc.
I felt a sort of relief when I picked up my small eyeliner pencil sharpener in my hand. I stared at it for a minute, mentally talking about what I wanted to do with it. I tried to talk myself out of it, but I just couldn't. I held the small object tighter in the palm of my hand and jumped up from the floor, running down to the kitchen. I clumsily pulled open the silverware draw. The metals clanged loudly until I finally had what I needed; a butter knife.
With no hesitation IO stuck the thin part of the knife through one of the lines of the 'x' mark on the screw and began twisting it loose. In a matter of seconds I had dropped the small blade into my palm and tossed the rest of the pieces into the rubbish bin.
A familiar churn twisted in my stomach and my wrists tingled. I felt a bit shaky as I dragged the blade across my wrist, immediately feeling the relief that my body was craving. I made a few more small cuts, not caring anymore that I'd have to wear long sleeves and bracelets. Nothing really mattered, no body cared, so why should I?
I quickly rinsed the blade off in the sink and ran back up to my room. I sat on the edge of my bed next to my nightstand, snatching a frame with a picture of the boys in it and opening up the back. After folding the edge-where Ashton stood-over, I placed the blade behind the metal and put everything back together.
I decided I was too tired to finish unpacking, so I climbed into my bed and pulled my laptop onto my lap. My fingers scanned over the mouse and keys before I finally had Sharknado on the screen.
I set the laptop on the side of me and laid on my side to face it. I didn't even make it past the beginning credits before I was out like a light.

When I woke up, I laid there staring at the ceiling for a little while before I forced myself out of bed to finish unpacking. My phone began vibrating as I put my last pile of clothes into the laundry basket.
I got to it a little to late, the phone had already stopped ringing. I realized that my lock screen was full of calls and texts from the boys, along with a few calls from an unknown number. I put my phone on do not disturb and brought it down to the kitchen with me. I pondered over my cabinets of food, then decided I'd eat nothing because, even though I was hungry, the thought of eating kind of made my stomach hurt.
I thought of something I could do, something productive, but nothing came to me. I ended up throwing myself down on the couch and opening up my phone.
To Vicky:
Wyd?
From Vicky:
Absolutely nothing kms
To Vicky:
Meet me at Starbucks?
From Vicky:
Give me thirty minutes.
I tossed my phone to the side and ran upstairs taking a really, really quick shower. I then ran to my room, dropping the towel that was wrapped around me and changing into joggers, converse, and a loose fit American Apparel hoodie.
I threw my hair into a ponytail, wrapping a small section around the elastic to make it look like I tried. I then put on some eye liner and ran down stairs and out the door with twenty five minutes past.
Luckily, Starbucks was only up the street and two blocks over. I hurried up and made it there at the same time as Victoria.
"Hey," She smiled giving me a quick hug before we stepped in, "I didn't really think the road trip would be over this quick, but needless to say I'm very glad to see you."
I bit my lip, "It's not exactly over, I took a cab home from New Zealand."
