-I'm leaving for New York Thursday, but I'll be back Friday so sorry if there's a lack of updates for the rest of the week-

ASHTON's POV

My heart was racing out of my chest. This isn't supposed to happen like this, it just isn't. This is not the plan.

I'm more scared then I ever have been.

My hands clutch the steering wheel tightly as I yell for Mikey to call Zayn or Louis and tell them to call the police.

Michael is blabbering into his phone in the backseat as Bella breaths heavily and Calum holds onto her.

Michael hangs up the phone, "They're calling, we have to stay on main streets so we get spotted easily."

I sped up faster, getting beeped at as I took a sharp turn on the the Main Street and ran through a red light.

"What's going on?" Bella gasped. "Ashton, somebody. Please, just tell me!"

I peeked at the car that was so close behind us. It scared me that I knew there was more of them, they could come at us from any direction and they all had some sort of weapon on them.

"Not right now Bella," I breathed out, taking another sharp turn.

"Ugh," Luke groaned, being tossed into the driver's door.

"I hear sirens!" Michael chanted a moment later. Just then, three big black SUVs came off the side streets.

One in front.

One in back.

And one on each side.

"Fuck" I cursed, slamming my hand down on the steering wheel "Keep Bella hidden back there."

I went to open the door, but Luke grabbed me. "No, stay in the car."

I brushed him off and got out of the car, demanding they all stay in.

I walked over to the car behind me, where Casey was getting out.

"Hi babe," she smirked.

"Fuck off," I muttered, "Just because what I planned didn't work, doesn't mean your going to win."

She laughed, biting down on her lip. She reached her hand up to my cheek, but I quickly pushed it away.

"Don't touch me." I hissed.

"Want me to get him?" A man walked out of the truck and walked over to me.

"No, no." Casey smiled at him, "Just get Bella."

He called to another guy and began walking towards my car. I looked around in a panic, there wasn't much I could do...I mean, they're big.

Casey placed a hand on my shoulder while I was turned away from her, "I didn't want to have to do this so soon Ash-babe, but you left me no choice when you decided to ruin our wedding day. I mean, I really was going to wait."

"You disgust me, leave your filthy hands of my Bella. She did nothing to you, little fucking prick. What happened to your dad wasn't her fault! She was there, she was little. You need help Casey if your going to blame someone who was five at the time for not protecting her parents," I rashed, "What if you got killed in front of your daughter? Would you want people blaming her, out to kill her, bothering her because she didn't fucking do anything? I thought I could help you, I did. But you're nothing but a sick bastard-"

A loud scream cut me off, I quickly turned around in a panic.

"Get out of the car," one of the guys threatened while pounding on the window.

I quickly ran over, shoving the bigger man back. "Get a fucking life, why are you helping Casey anyway?"

Not smart Ashton, not smart.

The guy next to the one I shoved grabbed me by the neck of my t-shirt, lifting me off my feet. I tried to push him, but before my hand even hit his chest I was flying over the car, landing on the cement road with a thud.

Traffic was backed up around us, a few people had gotten out of their cards but were too scared to move. Some where on the phone and I hope to god they called the police and gave them specific directions of our whereabouts.

I held my shoulder, wincing in pain. My eyes fell on Casey, she smirked at me then continued to walk towards my car with her gun gripped tightly in her hands.

"Don't!" I yelled, struggling to get t my feet, "Please don't hurt them Casey, I'll do anything just don't hurt my family."

"Ha," she laughed, carelessly pointing the gun at me, "You ruined your chances buddy."

My heart was beating out of my chest, was she going to shoot me?! I have to admit, I was just as worried, maybe even more, when she brought the gun back down and aimed it into the car. She knocked against the window with the weapon.

I saw some shuffling around in the car before the four of them-Bella, Luke, Calum, and Michael-stepped out.

They each looked very pale. Luke's arm was wrapped tightly around Bella's shoulders making sure to keep her close to him.

"Hey, stop it! The cops are here Casey, it's over!" A voice yelled. When Casey turned around to see where the voice was coming from I darted over to my family.

"Are you okay?" Calum asked me quietly. I nodded, taking my hand off my shoulder. Calum's eyes widened "Ash, your bleeding."

I just shrugged and stood to the side.

"Bella!" Another voice yelled out, this one was easier to recognize. "Run over here!"

I squinted in that direction to see five lads standing there, Harry being the one who called Bella over.

"Go Bella," I heard like whisper.

She was hesitant, but a second later she was sprinting in the direction of the One Direction lads.

Casey immediately raised her gun when Bella ran by her.

"No!" We all practically yelled in unison. Things seemed to go in slow motion as the trigger was pulled.

The loud bang...

The screams...

The sirens...

The crying...

I froze, how was I supposed to function. How were any of us supposed to function. Watching the body of someone you care about drop lifelessly to the ground is the worst thing to witness, ever.

I have no words.
