Orphanage-1 week there-
Ricky sat on his bed, looking out the window behind his headboard. He wanted to cry and wish someone was just there to hold him, all he wanted was a hug, a meaningful and loving hug.
"NUGGET!" Someone yelled in the doorway.
Richard looked to the door to see one of the older boys standing there.
"My names not nugget," Ricky poured.
"Well okay Dicky, I know your name but I don't care. It's supper time, nugget." The older boys name is Sam, he's thirteen, American, and rude.
Sam walked out of the room and Ricky began crying. Being only six, he didn't understand any of the emotions going on inside him, he barely knew what was happening around him. He cried, clinging to Bella's stuffed bear.
"I want Bella," he sniffled to himself. He sat there thinking about the five people he had met just a week ago.
"NUGGET!" Someone yelled. Nope, it was Sam. This was Julie. Julie Heather, a bossy nine year old from Aussie with fish lips and a Barbie constantly at her side.
So, nugget boy, Ricky climbed off the rock hard bed and made his way downstairs alone.
"Didn't Sam tell you it was time for dinner?" Julie asked rudely, "You're just as dumb as a nugget, nugget."
He furrowed his eyebrows, crossed his arms and stomped into the kitchen getting chastised for the noise his little feet were making on the ground.
He flopped into his chair at the table and watched as mashed potatoes came flying into his plate in a big clump.
Soon some weird chicken nuggets*sigh* and broccoli were also added to the plate. He ate some potatoes and a bit of the weird nuggets before claiming he was full.
Since Ricky didn't eat all his food, he couldn't have a cookie for desert. That didn't bother him though, they were oatmeal raisin and Sam usually took his anyways.
He clambered back to his room which, Camden, whom he shared the small room with, was on the top bunk sleeping already.
Camden was the same age as him, but didn't talk much and didn't seem all to friendly.
Ricky wanted a mum. But not his mum because after meeting Luke and Bella he realized he didn't love his mum as much as he thought he should.
He walked over to the single draw he had which was filled with hand me downs from other orphans. He grabbed his pajamas that had a big hole on the knee and walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth and change into them. When he walked out he was tripped.
"Hey toilet mouth!" Sam laughed.
Ricky laid on the floor holding back the urge to cry. He had smashed his temple on the corner of the hallway table and it hurt badly.
"Why are you calling him toilet mouth?" Julie asked as if it had all been planned, if so, she's a bad actor.
"Because he used his tooth brush which was dropped in the toilet, accidentally." Sam snickered.
Ricky began sobbing. He just brushed his teeth with toilet water and was almost 100% sure his head was bleeding.
He cried, thoughts of Bella running through his head. The people the little boy had know for such a short time had shown him more love than his actual parents.
If they were here they'd help little Richard, he knew they would help him so quickly.
Luke would pick him up and tell him it was okay well Bella cleaned up his boo boo and give him the teddy bear to hold.
But he'd never see them again...
OKAY! So this book still has a while, but if things go as I plan would you want a third book?
If you, or most of you, say you'd like a third book there will definitely be one and I already have the plot set up, but if you don't want a second book and rather just have me end it and not drag along the story I'll change my plan so please tell me your opinions!
