"I'm not sure," I replied to Calum's question.
"C'mon, there has to be a reason. People don't just assume others hate them for no reason." He argued.
We ended up sitting on the side walk, deciding we were too tired to walk and that it was too late for people to walk by so we weren't in the way.
I played with a small pebble, dragging it across the cement over and over again. "Well I guess she did. I can't give you a reason, Calum."
Calum rolled his eyes, "You're such a bad liar, but I'm not going to bug you if you don't want to tell. I'm tired, are you ready to go back?"
I nodded, letting Calum pull me up from the ground and to my feet. We started walking back and part of me really wished I could just blurt out to Cal everything on my mind, but the other party of me pulled it all back in.
"Thanks for walking with me," I smiled softly at Calum as he opened the bus door. He just shrugged and gave me a little side hug, pecking my forehead before entering. I followed behind him, going the opposite way once we were inside.
I walked over to the dark kitchenette to get a drink using the light coming from the window to help me find the fridge. I was feeling a bit restless, so I decided to sit at the kitchen table with my water.
"Want company?" I looked up from the table to see Casey standing in the door way with a half drunken Gatorade bottle in her hands.
I shook my head, "No, but you don't listen to me."
She smiled, "Well aren't you right." Casey walked over and sat down across from me. I pushed my chair back slightly, taking a sip of my water.
"What did you and Calum talk about on your walk?" She asked, sticking her nosy self in my business.
I shrugged, "What's it to you?"
"Just want to make sure you're not talking trash, hun." She smirked, making me feel sick to my stomach. "How do you feel now that Michael tossed your blades?"
"It wouldn't have happened if you hadn't placed it in my suitcase." I defended myself making her laugh in amusement.
"But don't you just really want to cut? Of course, I wouldn't know what it was like to be so tempted by a blade, it sounds kinda painful to me, but that's why you like it right?" Casey made sure each word was slow and emphasized, "So you just slide it across your skin and cover it up. Does it burn?"
"Please stop." I tried to sound stern, but my voice cracked and it turned to more of a whimper.
The tingling sensation grew in both my wrist and my stomach.
She continued to taunt me, knowing exactly what she was doing.
"Stop, stop, stop, stop..."I cried, "Please stop."
I stood up backing into the cupboard behind me."Did you start because you felt unwanted because of your parents?"
Casey made me feel schizophrenic, but only, she was real...
"So you wanted to feel pain instead of being so number."
"I said stop!" I yelled, without thinking I pushed the table at her sending her chair tipping over. My eyes widened, in seconds everyone had rushed into the room.
"Seriously?" Casey cried out as Ashton helped her up. She began complaining about how I pushed her and everything was spinning.
I blankly stared at everyone as tears silently ran down my face.
The boys looked from me to Casey, Luke was holding Jasmine who was yelling about me being a "meanie for hurting her mom".
Ashton shot me a death glare which made me feel even worse. Why did he hate me so much, didn't he see what she was doing?
"What even happened?" Someone fun all asked.
"I just came out here to sit with her and she got all mad...is she psycho or something?" Casey explained.
My lip trembled, "I'm sorry."
"Bella's not psycho, why would you say that? You have to had done something for her to hurt you in anyway." Luke defended angrily. "Bella, what happened?"
"I-I just wanted her to stop..."I shook my head, looking down at me feet and watching a tear splash on the ground.
"Stop what?" Ashton spat at me. Why me? It's her.
"I don't know what she's talking about," Casey said, clearly aggravated.
I began walking towards the exit of the kitchens, but Ashton pushed me back slightly.
"Nothing will ever get solved if you keep walking away from your problems," He said.
I nodded, "You're right. But I'm going to do it anyways because I'm not just going to sit here and get hurt by your stupid girlfriend and you. I never thought that you, out of all people, could make me feel so unwanted, but you do Ashton and I'm done with it. If you don't want me here, or have an issue, just tell me next time to save me the pain." I turned around and looked at the other boys, "Thank you for trying, I love you guys, have fun on the rest of the trip."
I pushed Ashton out of the way and walked straight out the door.
