Ashton's POV
I glanced over at my alarm clock which read 4:56, that means I looked at it just two minutes ago.
Casey laid curled up on the side of me, her reddish blonde curls hanging over her face. I sighed, rolling onto my side so that I was facing her. My hand carefully came to her face, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear and off her face.
I took my hand back, rolling back over so now I was facing the end of the bed and the alarm.
I thought about what Bella had said to Casey when I went upstairs the day before. She told her to stay away from me, she basically said Case was here for all the wrong reasons.
Truthfully, I know most of what's going on. I do, I'm not completely oblivious...I just can't let anyone get hurt because at the moment I'm unsure of what anyone's capable of right now.
I miss Bella and I miss my mates, but a lot of things are on the line and I refuse to hurt my family. No matter how it seems.
I reached out to the nightstand, grabbing my phone.
I opened up a group message with Bella and the lads in it from tour back oh so many years ago.
To Group: xx Ash
I stared at my phone for a minute, sighing when I realized I wasn't going to get an answer for many reasons. I opened a private message to Bella, my fingers weighing over the keys for a few seconds.
A hand was placed on my shoulder, I quickly shut off my phone and put it back on the nightstand before rolling over. Casey was still asleep, but now had her arm around me and chest against mine.
I suddenly felt sick. I wanted to throw up because I know I was doing something wrong, but it felt like I was doing the right thing. Protecting my family is what I'm supposed to do.
Since all of you hate Ashton I felt like this was necessary to show that there's more to this then we know...
Next time I update I'll officially be a fudging freshman like abfjdjdodif!!!
