"You excited for tonight?"
You jumped hearing Keqing whispering over your shoulder. You whirled your head to look at her, she giggled.
"You scared me!" You pouted before turning around and setting the coffee mug you were cleaning back on the shelf.
"Sorry, sorry, you were just so focused that you didn't hear me the first time I asked." She gave a slanted smiled.
She backed away, letting you turn around and face her. You rested your hands in the counter behind you.
"Well I do have to make sure I remember that ridiculous order the one customer gave us."
You sighed recalling a girl with a weird teddy bear asking to have slime condescension in a giant cup with whipped cream on top.
"If it's ridiculous then I'm sure you'll remember it." She snickered, before walking to the register to take a customers order.
You groaned, not wanting to go fish out the slime from the freezer in the back. "(Y/N)! We need you on the second register!"
Your manager yelled from the backroom. You yelled an 'okay' back before walking up next to Keqing.
"What can I get for you today?" You clocked on the register and looked up. You froze seeing the familiar figure.
"Ganyu!" You chirped, happy to see her. She smiled warmly at you.
"Hello (Y/N), you already know my order." She giggled. You smiled and nodded, tapping the screen for one vanilla espresso.
"Are you going to tonight's bonfire?" She leaned against the counter a little, tilting her head.
Her eyes lingered on yours as you found the words to reply with. "Yeah, I wouldn't really wanna miss it."
Keqing watched you two talk to each other. A pain in her chest forming. Her stomach felt like it was eating itself seeing the way you looked at Ganyu. How your eyes would light up.
"Uhm.. excuse me?" Keqing snapped out of her trance, turning to look at the customer. She muttered an apology while taking their order.
