"This is ridiculous!"
You threw the folder containing multiple papers onto your desk. Your secretary looked at you nervously.
The papers in question were information you gathered over a special... person. The said special person, somehow broke into your office and smothered your documents with red lipstick kisses.
"How does she even keep getting in?!" You groaned and leaned back into your chair.
Your secretary fidgeted with their fingers. "I'm not sure Ms.(Y/N)"
"We can't even take this in for replacement. It's all disclosed information." You sighed heavily.
You opened your mouth to complain more, but your office door swung open. It smacked the wall with a loud thud.
"(Y/N)! We got information of the Guuji's whereabouts." Another detective in your department, Diluc, stood in the doorframe.
You instantly shot up from your seat, hastily grabbing your suit jacket. "Talk to me while we're heading there."
You followed Diluc down the hallway. His eyes glancing to you as he began to speak.
"We've received an anonymous report that she's attending a ball in the Tenshukaku gallery tonight." He opened the door that led into the parking garage.
"How do we know this Anon is telling the truth?" You walked past Diluc, heading for a sleek black car.
"That's the thing, they're not necessarily Anon." He watched as you opened the car door and slipped in.
"Then why the hell would you tell me they are?" You questioned as he got in the passenger seat.
Diluc pinched the bridge of his nose. "We have suspicions this report is from the Guuji herself."
You scoffed, starting the car. "This could be a trick, you know she's known for tricking and making a fool of us."
Diluc only gave a stiff nod of agreement. His silence was all you needed to know that he disagreed.
