You hummed as you grabbed the apron hanging from the rack. It was early in the morning, honestly the perfect time to be working.
You smiled smelling the pastries and coffee from the main lounge. You currently worked at Narukami University's Cafe. It was only part-time though because you were a student yourself.
As you finished tying your apron, you walked out the staff door taking your respective place behind the counter.
Your coworker, Thoma, smiled at you. "Hey! Glad you came, I was about to clock out!"
"Yeah sorry for being a little late."
"It's no worries! I'm just glad I won't miss my plans today." He hummed while taking off his apron.
"I hope you enjoy your little date~" You smirked and winked at him.
"Ah! (Y/N) shshshsh!" He clapped a hand over your mouth preventing you from speaking.
You squirmed, trying to get away from his hand. You both laughed in sync from the playful encounter.
"Ahem!" A stern voice caught your attention from behind the counter. You looked over to see a girl with short black hair and a upset expression. Beside her was another girl, only shorter and well, pink.
You removed Thoma's hand and walked over to the counter. Not without playfully punching Thoma in the gut though.
"Very sorry about that! What can I get started for you two?" You gave an apologetic smile.
"You shouldn't play behind the counter like-"
"It's okay!" The pink haired girl interrupted the other one. Her face was tainted with a light blush as she stared at you.
It was silent for a few seconds as the girls awkwardly looked at each other, then back at you.
Nervously laughing, you repeated your question. "Sooo.. what can I get you?"
"One black coffee and a caramel latte, please." You nodded at their order, gently jotting it down on a pad note.
"Alrighty! Can I have a name for the order?" You glanced up at them, still holding your pen.
