I have a mtb

It was dusk, the sun had almost set. In the park in front of the Shido house, Kyoichi stood with folded hands ahead of his siblings. Makoto and Kenji stood behind him, none said a word, until Kenji broke the silence.

" I a.... I am sorry."

Kyoichi gave a stern reply " Sorry... does not make a dead man alive"

This was quite unexpected by Kenji, he was completely taken aback.

" Your going to train him, right...?" asked Makoto, even though she knew the answer to that.

" No.... the challenge was accepted by him.... he'll train himself." said Kyoichi and walked away.

This proved that there was no way Kyoichi approved of this challenge and also that he won't let Kenji win, as Kenji was just a rookie, an experienced trainer like Gabu was impossible to be beaten by him. Kenji looked towards Makoto, her expression proved that she had no strategy or plan that would help beat Gabu.

The sound of sneakers on the ground was heard when Makoto turned. It appeared that Sho and Kakeru had apparently heard about Kyoichi's win and had come to congratulate him. But when they saw Makoto's expression they asked," so how did it go?"Makoto looked at Kenji, who was staring at the red sun. Sho and Kakeru looked at each other and knew that something was wrong.

Sho and Kakeru were numb. They were aware of Gabu's formiddable skill and above all Kenji had lost the trainer who could train him well enough to stand a chance. To break the silence and sorrow environment.

" I'll.... We'll try our best, Kenji, though I don't know how much that'll help" said Sho.

" Sho... he doesn't even have a mtb. How will you train him." said Kakeru.

"He does" said Makoto " but, it'll have to be assembled together"

Everyone stared at her and Kenji asked " I do have a mtb?"

" Yes, you do.... but Kyoichi kept it a secret and that it should be revealed only at the most desperate situations.... I guess things can't get more desperate than this"

" So Kakeru let's put your skills at a test" said Makoto with a mocking smile and Kakeru returned it with a nervous face and by lifting his spectacles
