Taiga...
It's impossible! I do not believe this. I never thought this would happen! I stormed pass the other members straight to Gabu's throne room. Before entering, I sighed.
" Gabu, there's a problem!"
"There always is" Gabu replied. He wasn't agitated, actually, annoyingly calm.
"Team Sho, they have a talking owl with them and he's protecting them!" I answered.
"Hmm, Interesting. Not the owl, that man. So, what's the problem?" Gabu asked.
"I didn't gain that information through Kenji, someone else reported it, he withheld that piece of information." My words were not something I'd like to believe in, even though I knew this was obvious, I didn't assume he'd cross Gabu.
"That was obvious,be smart Taiga. Forget that, tell me about the bike." Gabu replied.
He had a point, Kenji made an error, he thought he's the only one who reports to us, and I wouldn't have left that topic if Gabu hadn't brought up something else.
" Blaze Phoenix. It's confirmed. You were right." I replied.
"The analysis?" he asked back.
" Blaze Phoenix is like an unfulfilled container, it's powerful, certainly more than an ordinary bike, but not as powerful as an Idaten bike. It seems to unlock the 'Wings of Fire', if a certain condition is met. However, what we saw, was not its full potential, it can accumulate more power. This sort of creates a vacuum like condition, therefore, it draws power from the rider. All of this is mainly similar to an Idaten bike, but the catch is, Idaten bikes, there power containers grow with the rider. Therefore, when Kenji, a complete amateur fuelled it with his feelings, that vacuum formed and instead of taking what Kenji's emotions gave to him, it extracted out energy from him. You're attacks may have caused the physical damage but the delay in his recovery was because the bike exhausted him beyond measure."
I was parched now, speaking so much, so I walked to Gabu's jug, while he sat there sitting and probably thinking.
" So it would seem Young Kenji is in quite the trouble!" He finally said, breaking the silence, I nodded as I was drinking the glass of water. Once I kept it, I replied,
" Call him back! That bike is too dangerous  for anyone. It's container is practically larger than yours"
" No! That's not gonna happen! Instead send that girl" Gabu replied.
" You want to put two troublemakers in the same team. Are you that bored?" I asked.
" Don't be surprised, she left a comrade to die because he didn't listen to her, Kenji will be taught his manners" He replied confidently.
"What if they team up against us?" I asked.
" Us? You mean me. They're the same age, aren't they? Bonds of that age like challenges"
"Fine then!" I answered, my disagreement dripping from my voice.
"Taiga you're too obvious! Plus, 'tactically!'That's not  exactly how kids think" His voice called from behind.
His sarcastic tone meant trouble, he got me! I was angry at Kenji but to place him with her is just BAD. I was hiding my caution with the idea of a rebellion, but, what does he mean by 'bonds of that age'?
My voice gave way as I called that young woman. Yes. Young woman. Gabu may call her a girl, but that woman is far more powerful. If Kenji can befriend her, then he might just survive, else.... She picked up.
" This is Taiga. You're next teammate is Ken... I mean Hawk. Take care of him and keep a special eye on his bike, under no circumstances allow him to use his special move"
The voice changer's voice was creepy, but it said,"Got it! I'll begin ASAP."
I'm counting on you, Misaki!

Well, a very short chapter, but I plan to publish another by this month.
