You won, it was fair

Kyoichi and Taiga both had qualified to the finals of the trial bike championship.

The night before the finals, in Team Shark tooth turf....................................................................................... 

Gabu- I've seen the track where the finals will be held. 

Taiga- so

Gabu smirked- So, right before the finishing of the race you will knock your friend over by kicking him of his bike, Taiga

Taiga- What?? no gabu I am not gonna cheat and either ways how do propose people will not notice this sneaky trick.

Gabu- If you are careful enough nobody will notice or  just before the end move close and finish the game for Kyoichi.

Taiga- but why gabu, why do you want the medal that you can make your own brother cheat for it.

Gabu- Because its for Team Shark Tooth, its for our reputation,our award gallery that we dream of creating. I am not sacrificing that for your friendship

Taiga didn't know what to say. He gazed at gabu and thought " what have you become,Gabu"

The day of the finals, in the stadium....................................................................................................................

The entire Shido  family was present in the stadium. Kyoichi's younger syblings eagerly awaited his arrival and when he did they cheared him at the top of their voice. Gabu Samajima was present as predicted by Taiga. Gabu was their to make sure his brother didn't give away the prize for friendship. Gabu could never trust his brother.

Kenji & Makoto- U can do it bro we know u can

As soon as the race began the crowd shouted and kyoichi took the lead with Taiga behind him followed three other riders. But as curves play Taiga's specialty he caught up to Kyoichi by the next two curves. 

Kyoichi- Your close but u won't beat me

Taiga- Think again

Taiga looked at Gabu. Gabu nodded and an evil smile appeared on his face and he thought " do a we planned Taiga then the trial bike championship trophy will belong to Team Shark's tooth". Gabu noticed a sharp hairpin curve ahead of Kyoichi and said "PERFECT" .

Taiga- I'm sorry

Kyoichi- No Taiga, focus

When Taiga looked ahead he saw the curve was too close but he survived  it rather than falling over with a jagnite turn but this slowed him down. Kyoichi was focused on his friend, he was too gonna fall when took a drift and continued at medium speed. During this close, nearly accident Kyoichi's syblings stood up.

Kenji- oh no, whats gonna happen makoto

Makoto- I am not sure

Kyoichi was able return to quite a high speed, followed by Taiga who was picking up the pace. Behind them the riders were quite closer than before. Taiga was catching up, when Kyoichi used his special move and moved way ahead but Taiga too used his speciality in turns to catch up. Kyoichi looked back, Taiga was about 2 foot behind him, when they saw the finishing line.

Gabu cried- Do it now

Taiga though as he neared Kyoichi- It 's gabu's idea to kick Kyoichi at the end of the race but do I really have to let him control our friendship, do I really have to let him control me. 

Kyoichi- wake up, dreamboy

Taiga forced a gentle smile on his face and thought " No, I can't betray my best and most reliable friend for Team Shark Tooth's award gallery, sorry Gabu I cant."

Taiga braked. When Kyoichi looked back he was astounded to see Taiga slowing down.

Kyoichi- What are you doing,Taiga we decided this would be a fair race

As soon as Kyoichi finished the ribbon touched his bike. When Taiga came in he stared at Taiga, surprised. When Taiga saw he gave back a gentle smile and nodded stating" You won, it was fair".

Everybody stood up and clapped for Kyoichi. his friends ran and picked him up on their shoulders. Makoto and Kenji smiled and cheered for Kyoichi but they were one of the two out of three who knew what had happen before the finish. The third person,  Gabu would have broken his brother's bones with anger, he could not accept what had just happened but there was nothing he could do. The drums started beating for Kyoichi when Taiga looked back and thought " I was close but I coundn't have beaten you anyway, IT WAS FAIR."
