Kakeru...
Currently, we were running. The rash gang boss, who I didn't yet trust and the rider were helping us. I had protested saying, "breaking out is a punishable offence!"The rider was about to explain, "They have more evidence that you are guilty than you have that you are innocent", he was about to continue, but soon there faces were expressing a weird emotion as Lady Makoto punched my head and said, "We're leaving cause we're not staying!"
Back to the present, I had no choice to run with a pain in my head. "Hey, big guy, why did you come back to get us?" asked Sho.
Which was actually a unanimous question.
"It's because, I really like you, kid. You are a good rider. Plus, leaving the police blank, is something I love to do" the gang boss replied.
"And why did you help, mister?" asked Makoto.
"Later" the rider replied.
But then I heard, "perhaps". This wasn't heard by the others.
"Hey, wait up"
This voice didn't belong to one of my friends or the people helping us, but to a strange owl. It was caged and it explained, that the officers found him fascinating so they locked him up for some us. Above the cage said 'Guard'
"I wonder why they did that" said Sho.
"Yeah, it's a complete mystery" said Makoto sarcastically. Sho obviously didn't get it, he really didn't know why. So Makoto gave him a glare and they both understood, the difference in their way of thinking.
The owl started to beg us, pleaded us to take him along. Since, no one said a word. Sho said "Yes. You can come with us."
The gang boss smiled, so did me and Makoto, but the rider kept an alert eye on the surroundings.
"Hey, wait. My Flame Kaiser" said Sho. Suddenly, we were reminded of the fiery bike that won us the Idaten battle.
"There's no time for that. Let it go. I'll get it for you later" said the rider.
But Sho didn't seem to agree, so he signalled 'no' with his head. We were silent for a while, that is when the owl said "I know where they keep the confiscated items." An expression of hope appeared on Sho's face. The owl lead and we followed Sho who ran after it. The rider and the gang leader discussed that the gang leader and his men will distract the police and the rider can help us. So that is where we said bye to that leader, I thanked him on behalf of everyone and continued running.
We spotted the Flame Kaiser but at the same time the rider disappeared somewhere. The bike was locked and the owl had pointed out a truck like thing which he said even I could pedal. By this time, the Captain had reached calling out Sho's name he came towards us. Sho said, he'll distract him till we free the bike. That's what we were doing when we saw Sho cornered. But, also suddenly we saw a door which was between the Captain and Sho shut close. It was a metal, net like door, there was no lock to it, so the hand that closed it put a wrench to lock it with the other side. The Captain struggled to open it, but he couldn't. I managed to free Flame Kaiser and load it in the truck. Makoto then called out Sho, while Sho came towards us, we saw the hand that had helped Sho belonged to the rider. He turned his back and started walking away as well through the garage door. He walked quickly and then lifted his right hand and gave us thumb's up.
He vanished with the sun that was setting and as soon as Sho hopped on, I pedalled ahead.
Our trailer-truck seemed to be like a magic carpet ride to us, it had food, bike parts and a match box. We collected some twigs and started a fire. Around this fire we spent our night. The owl kept speaking though, all night to Makoto, without realising she was the first to fall asleep.
The next morning, we washed our faces by the water in the truck. The previous day, me and Makoto had used the restroom but Sho hadn't. So he had to run a distance and answer nature's call, during this time, the owl explained that he didn't know why he could speak like humans, he had lost his memory and about himself he only knew that his name was Hosuke.
Makoto tried to cook the food in the truck, but I never knew she could cook, so I expected the worst. But, our breakfast was interrupted by a trailer truck approaching us. We could clearly see the face of the rider, he was quite close and he was the Captain of the police.
We didn't waste any time, we packed what was absolutely necessary and leaving behind quite a part of our food, we left. The Captain was much older than us, but he was as fit as a horse. He almost caught up but, he was blocked off by a rider. The rider pedalled slowly and was between the two trailers. We were gaining a lead, but this friend of ours did not please the Captain. The Captain pedalled quickly as to push the rider off, but that was his greatest mistake.
The rider forced him to take a detour, and as the trailer had gained such momentum the Captain couldn't stop it. A tree was ahead of the rider. Sho was pedalling but he was aware of what was happening at the back, he screamed "Watch out!"
As Sho finished his sentence, the rider jumped and miraculously turned away from the tree, which is called a 360. The rider dodged the tree completely, while Captain and his other officers hit the tree. The rider then, rode off. It was an amazing stunt he had pulled off and Sho was so fascinated by this that he said "Hey wait up, I want to race you, dude. Hold it." The rider ignored him and vanished from the scene and Hosuke reminded Sho, he had better things to worry about. However, I expected Makoto have said this, but she continued to stare on towards the rider and muttered "He looks so much like... that bike...that style...could it be?" I didn't dare interrupt her, she snapped out of it in a while.
But, now we were in a n even greater crisis, the area we had reached was extremely sandy, so the tyre's had got stuck and the Captain must be still chasing us. Me and Sho tried to push the tyre out, but it didn't move an inch. Then our strongest member, Queen of Team Kaiser stepped forth, she literally picked me and Sho up and placed us in the truck. Sho sat on the saddle, I turned to see, hoping to see her face when she realizes she isn't strong enough. I also hoped that I would control my laughter.
But, much to my surprise, the trailer moved, Makoto did it. Physically she was stronger than both my and Sho's strength combined, no wonder her punches hurt like a hammer.
After seeing this miracle we started moving, only to see we were surrounded by a group of trailers bearing the mark of the X-Zone police. The Captain then walked up to us from the first trailer and said "Time to stop, Sho Yamato."
