Mabilis dumaan ang linggo. Hindi ko nga namalayan na ito na ang huling araw para sa 2012.

Paano ko naman mamamalayan, e sobrang busy ko sa trabaho. Kinain lahat ng oras ko para mapagnilay-nilay at i-absorb ang isang bagong araw.

Pati nga si babe ay busy din, lalo na at magkakaroon sila ng bagong CEO, rather acting CEO. Kaya naman puspusan din ang paghahanda nila the past week dahil sa first quarter ng 2013, may new boss na sila.

Masyado nga siyang nag-iisip kung sino ang bagong papalit na CEO. Ilang beses ko na nga siyang sinabihan na wag na niyang masyadong alalahanin dahil kahit magpalit man sila ng boss, as long as maganda ang performance niya, wala siyang dapat ikabahala.

I believe in my babe's skills and dedication at his job. When he's into it, he's really into it. He'll give all his best, time and effort to bring better input.

Hanggang 3 lang ang work namin today sa firm dahil new year's eve mamaya. Buti naman at may oras pa akong makapag-last minute grocery for media noche namin ni babe.

Yes, that's right. Kami ulit ni babe ang magkasama this new year! Yippeee.. My heart swells with happiness just by the mere thought of having him all to myself welcoming the new year.

Wala si Angelo sa office today. I know the reason well enough. Pati si Jean wala din. As usual nasa bahay na yun kasama sina Leila.

 Yra exclaimed from behind me.

Hindi na talaga nagbago ang babaeng to kahit kelan. Hobby na talaga ang gulatin ako.

Humarap ako sa kanya at bumati na din.

"Happy new year too, Yra." I smiled.

She hugged me tightly. The sudden touchy-thing warmed my heart.

"I'm gonna miss you.." She sniffed.

"Why? Are you going to resign? Huh?" I asked then loosened on the embrace.

She shook her head. Huh? So bakit niya ako mami-miss?

"Tell me, Yra. Why?" I plead.

If she's going somewhere else. I'm sure I'm gonna miss this crazy bitch. Just by thinking of her leaving, my eyes water with tears.

She's like a sister to me, just like Kate, my best friend. If she leaves, a piece of me will go with her.

"I'm gonna miss you because after this day.. I'm not going to see you. I'm going to see you because.." she trailed off.

"Why? Please, Yra.."

"Kase...next year na lang kita ulit makikita. I'm gonna miss you George." She sobbed.

"Why? Aalis ka ba? Out of the town?" I asked confused.

She just bursts into laughters. Tumawa lang siya ng tumawa. Grabe, anong mali sa sinabi ko?

"Tsk.tsk.. ang slow mo talaga George! I was just kidding!" She said between laughters.

Nagsalubong ang mga kilay ko. Joke? Paanong naging joke yun? Bakit di ko magets ang joke na yun na sinsabi niya? Alin ang joke dun?
