Chapter 15: Sweet Nothings

George's POV...

Its friday today, and this means that my happy days are soon to be over. Tapos na yung leave na hiningi ko sa architecture firm na pinagtatrabauhan ko.

Kaya naman susulitin ko na. That's why when Ken asked me to go out, I said yes.

Sayang naman kung papalampasin ko pa di ba? Pitong taon aming naghiwalay at di nagkasama at nagsolo. Osya, tama na muna sa drama.

We headed to a mall nearby and decided to go on movies. Alam niyo na kung ano ang palabas sa sine ngayon. What's hot today? Breaking dawn part 2, right?

Duhh. Yun lang kaya ang palabas sa halos 7 cinema sa mall na ito. As if naman may iba kaming pagpipilian.

So yun, nanuod lang kami. Pinanuod ko naman yung unang part e so di na ako malilito kung sakali.

"Napanuod mo ba yung part 1 nito babe?"  tanong niya habang sinusubuan ako ng popcorn.

"Yeah, I did. Why?" I asked.

"Wala lang, ang hot kasi nung bed scene nila dun di ba? Napaka-aggressive ni Bella. Just reminds me of what we've.." di na niya naituloy.

"Aray babe, what's that for?" reklamo niya.

Kinurot ko kasi siya. Sasabihin pa ang nakaraang sexy time namin. Bastos lang. Namula tuloy ako.

"Just shut up. Okay? Manuod ka na lang," galit kong tugon.

He just shrugged his shoulders. And we watched in silence. Kain habang nanunuod. Walang imikan.

At namalayan ko na lang na unti-unting dumidilim ang nasa harapan ko. Alam kong madilim naman sa sine e kaso mas dumilim pa. May tumakip sa pinapanuod ko.

Then I just felt his soft lips covered mine. Isang masuyong halik galing sa kanya. How sweet.

"Sorry babe, sorry. Please?" he plead.

I just smiled at him and nodded. Who could resist a sweet guy like him? I bet, no one.

And I wouldn't let anyone steal him from me. He's mine, mine alone.

I leaned on his shoulder and wrapped my other arm on his as our hands clasped together.

Can't we just stay this way forever? I don't want to go back to work and face the reality again.

A day without him.  A whole week of us not seeing each other often.

I'll just find a way, I'm sure he will also make ways for us to be together. I knew him too well. I just have to wait.

My vision turned into pitch black again. My eyes shut and I'm off to dreamland.

I saw a girl, a beautiful girl in skimpy clothing. She threw me a deadly glare as her lips twitched in an evil smile.

The knotrabida thing of flexing their d=facial muscles to threaten the protagonist.

Ang weird lang, ngayon pa lang kami nagkita. But there's something about her face that shouts familiarity. I've already seen her.

Because in dreams, when you dream of people, usually those you don't know or you haven't seen don't have faces.

But she has, so I'm sure that I've seen her before. I just can't recall when and where.

And what's with the bitchy attitude anyway? May atraso ba ako sa kanya?

She gave me a one last glare and stomped her feet away from me.

And this is what frightened me, she said something I can't understand. Something I can't fathom but threatened my whole being. I shivered.

"People always want what they can't have and take for granted the things they already have. The worst thing here is that when people wanted something badly, they usually go for it, no matter what the means they have to take. If I were you, I might as well take good care and appreciate what you have now.  It might be stolen from you. Maraming may gusto kung anong meron ka, mag-iingat ka sana lalo na sa ak.."

Then someone shoved my shoulders. Hindi tuloy natapos nung babae yung sinasabi niya sa panaginip ko. Ang weird.

Ano ba ang ibig niyang sabihin? Ang gulo, hindi ko maintindihan.

"Babe, sorry to wake you up but you're having a bad sleep," he said worriedly.

"Oh that's okay. Yeah, just had a bad dream."

"Care to tell me?" he asked. Wanting to know about it.

"Err. Just some crazy=y girl saying crazy stuff I can't understand, that's all" I shrugged.

He just nodded and pulled me into his arms securedly.

I repressed the bad dream I had and just went back on watching.

To my dismay, Carlisle and Jasper just died. Argh! Why? Stupid film.

After the movie, we went to a pizza parlor and ate.

Nagkulitan lang. Ayos na din yun para tuluyan ko nang di intindihin ang napanaginipan ko.

"Ayoko pang bumalik sa trabaho babe," I pouted and grabbed a big bite at my pizza.

"Same here babe. Work is between us," he replied.

"So, how about we make the most of our Friday? I know a stall that offers merchandise for couples like us," I smiled sweetly.

I grasped his hands and lead him to this certain stall.

"Here babe, this polo shirt suits you," I said happily.

"Thank you babe, that dress suits you too," he replied.

"Of course, these two go along. It's for couples. So, are we going to buy them?" I beamed at him.

"Yes."

"Oh, these mugs are lovely! And these tooth brush too! Can we take them babe?" I asked excitedly.

"Sure babe, for you."

Ayun, bumili na nga kami nang kung anu-ano para sa magbf-gf. Puro paperbags ang dala ni babe. Hihi.

Then we decided to stroll around the mall till the closing time.

Hindi pa kami nakuntento at pumunta pa sa isang park para kumain ng cotton candy. Bigla kasi akong nag-crave ng something sweet.

Kumain din kami ng balot at kung anu-ano pa.

"Ang sarap talaga ng balot. Masarap din yung kwek kwek at fishball," sabi niya.

"Mas masarap yung cotton candy at mais babe. Masarap din naman ang balot pero mas bet ko yung sweets."

"Oo na sige na."

"Pero hindi naman kaya tayo mag-diarrhea nito? Kung anu-ano pinagkakain natin. Baka maempatso din tayo," I said between laughing.

"Hindi naman siguro. Wag mo nang ipanalangin babe, mahirap na. Nasa public place tayo, mahirap makahanap ng cr."

Then we just burst into a series of hearty laughters.  Sumakit ang tyan at panga ko sa kakatawa. Pati din naman siya.

Sweet moments like this, sweet laughter like this will never be forgotten. Memories instilled forever on my mind.
