Mia POV

Christmas Eve

It's been 2 years since I met the Evans clan and I'm so unbelievably grateful that I did. They quickly became like a second family to me and my sister. So much had happened in 2 years, I had wrote another book and I had just finished my Book Tour, Chris had filmed the next Fantastic Four film and I couldn't wait to watch it. Luca was now 7 and he was an incredible Kid. He was unbelievably smart and such a wonderful little dude.

My sister has a daughter, she is now 1 and she is beautiful. Her name Avery Mia and she is one of my favourite people in this world. Today I was travelling back to Boston to surprise the Evans Family and my sister. They didn't know I was able to come back for Christmas and I couldn't wait to see them.

As I pull up, I see everyone's cars sat outside Lisa's house. I couldn't help but feel excited. As I walked in, I heard Lisa shout "who could that be? Everyone is here"
She walks out and sees me, she squeals out loud and runs to me. Wrapping her arms around me and holding me tight.
"Mia! Omg!"
I can't help but laugh as I see everyone walking out of the living room.

"Mia!!!!" I hear Luca scream my name and I pull away from Lisa in time to catch him as he runs towards me.
"Pickle!!!" I pick him up and swing him around.
"I missed you so much dude"
"I missed you too"
I place him down and am suddenly surrounded by the whole Evans family holding me tightly. I look up and see Chris's eyes looking at me and he is smiling.

"It's so good to see you Mia"
"You too Chris"
As everyone finally lets me breath, I take the gifts into living room and I see a woman sat on the sofas. She is dressed up like she is going to a party and she doesn't look happy.
"Hi"
"Hi" she says in a very unhappy and serious voice.
"Oh Mia, this is Minika. She is my girlfriend. Minnie this is Mia"

I look up at Chris completely shocked, the last we spoke he still wasn't ready to date.
"Wow! It's nice to meet you" I stick my hand out and she very reluctantly takes it and we shake.
"You too"
Wow she was a bit of snob.
"I'm going to go get a drink. Can I get you anything?"
She just shakes her head and I smile politely and walk in to the kitchen where everyone else is.

"So you met Minika?"
"Hmmmm"
They all start laughing and I can't help but laugh too "she doesn't seem to like me"
"She doesn't like any of us"
"Oh"
"Yeah. She isn't happy, she thought Chris was taking her out to a party but obviously he wanted to be here"
I nod and I look at Luca "what about you pickle? Do you like her?"
"No. She is mean and stuck up"

I don't even know what to say. I'm sure she is lovely once she opens up to people and the Evans family is kind of intermediating when you first meet them.
"Well if it's her first time meeting you...."
"Oh it's not" Scott said "we've meet her a few times. She just constantly wears a scowl"
"Oh. Well maybe once we get her involved in the fun she will loosen up a bit right"
"Your too optimistic for your own good Mia" Tara said and she hugged me.

"Come on. She can't be that bad"
They all smirk and continue drinking there hot chocolate. If chris is serious enough to call this woman girlfriend then im going to do all I can to make her feel included. Chris's and Lucas happiness is all I've ever cared about.
"Where's my sister anyway?"
"Oh she didn't tell you?"
"No"
"She won't be here this year, she is going to Johns family"

"What?"
"Yeah apparently they had a argument, he wasn't happy to always have to spend it here when he has a family too"
"Great. Im going to go call her okay"
"Okay"
I step outside, as I do I see Chris and Minika looking very intense. I hope there okay. It's Christmas after all and no would should be grumpy at Christmas.
