Chris POV

I head into the kitchen to make a drink, I know Mia needs her space and I can respect that I just hope she understands I didn't keep this from
Her on purpose. I genuinely was so wrapped up in seeing her and the kids again I just forgot. Sometimes I hate this life I lead because I never have any privacy. The media will continue to spin things no matter what the truth maybe.

"Dad!!!!"
I run towards Luca, I can hear him upstairs "Luca?"
"It's mum"
I get to the bathroom and see Mia on the floor, he head is bleeding.
"Omg. Luca call 911"
He rushes out the door and I kneel down by Mia, gently pushing her hair out of her face.
"Mia baby, can you hear me?"
I hear her groan and I let out a huge sigh of relief.
"Chris?"

"Stay lay down baby, I think you passed out and you've hit your head"
Luca comes in and tells me the paramedics will be here shortly.
"Thanks mate can you go check on your sister and Avery for me"
He nods while looking at Mia "hey, she is okay"
He nods again and head out.
After a few minutes I hear the paramedics and they rush into the room. I tell them what happened and they check Mia over. They suggest she go to the hospital just to be checked.

Luckily scott is still here so he agrees to sit with the kids. We head out and she is seen pretty quickly. They don't have to stitch her head so they give her the all clear to go home. Telling her to keep her stress levels low. As we sit in the car, there is an awkward silence. I know she is keeping her emotions inside and it's not healthy for her.
"Mia? Talk to me please"
"I'm f...."
"Don't say your fine. You just passed out and cracked your head open. Please Mia"

She takes a deep breath "I just.......I got lost in my head and I started to panic..."
"About what?"
"About you, us, Minika"
"Minika? Baby there is nothing going on with Minika. I love you. I'm sorry I didn't tell you I saw her but I promise you, I was just so wrapped up in seeing you again that I didn't even remember it"
"My heart knows that but my head just ran away with it self"
"What do you mean?" I pull into a nearby car park so we can talk properly.

"I just.....she is beautiful and gorgeous and is used to the spot light and everything that comes with it and so sometimes I question why you picked me and why you chose to stay with me when you could have her or someone like her. Why would you chose to raise a child with me that's not your and......"
I grab her face and kiss her deeply. I see the shock and confusion as I pull back.

"Mia, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever met, you are kind and caring and loving and sweet. You are the most amazing mother, you are an incredible girlfriend and an amazing friend to so many people including my family. I chose you because you are my everything. You stood by me the minute you met me. You've been at my side through everything, you have been through some of the worst things in your life and still your standing. I choose you because I love you and I can't imagine my life without you. I choose Lizzie because in every way she is mine. Yes we may not share the same blood but she is mine Mia and I would be lost without either of you. So would Luca"

"Chris...."
"No.....you have to stop second guessing this Mia, I want you, I want Lizzie and Luca and Avery and even your sister okay. Your all my family and I love you." I lean back and grab a box from my bag, something I was planning on giving to her in a more romantic setting but this will have to do. I take her hand and caress her knuckles.
"Mia Stenton, will you do me the honour of becoming Mia Evans. Marry me?"
