Mia POV

It's been a month since I had my baby and she is finally able to come home today. I'm so excited, we have been going back and forth to the hospital to see her and it's been heartbreaking having to leave her every day. Luca is so excited too, he can't wait to have her home. We took some time to pick a name. We weren't sure what we wanted, but we eventually picked Elizabeth Lisa Evans. She is named after two of the most important woman in my life.

My grandma was my favourite person in the world and when she died it was so hard. She was everything to me and then of course Lisa. Chris's Mum has been there for me so much since I met Chris and she has always felt like my mum too. Lisa was so emotional when she found out and I couldn't help but cry with her.

Avery is still staying with us, we haven't heard anything from my sister or her husband. They have literally abandoned her. I've spoken with the police and they are trying to find her. They have been in contact with the child's services and they have agreed for us to keep Avery until my sister can be found. So we are about to have 3 children under one roof. Talk about stressful.

We are on the way to the hospital now, Luca was so bummed that he couldn't come with us but he understood that he would need to go to school and that he would see us when he came home. Avery started play school not long ago and she has been loving it, we will have to collect her on the way home from the hospital so she will meet our little Lizzie first.

We walk to the room where they have been keeping Lizzie and I see her out of her incubator and in the nurses arms. The nurse who is called Millie turns and smiles at me.
"Ready to take her home mama"
"More then ready"
She hands me my beautiful little girl and I smile down at her.
"Hi baby girl"
Chris stands behind me, holding my waist and peering down at her from my shoulder.
"God she has grown so much"

I nod and I see her eyes go straight to Chris once she hears his voice.
Chris smiles "hi little Bug, how's my princess?"
He stroked her head and I can't help but get emotional. He loves her so much already and I couldn't be more grateful to him. We have looked into Chris legally adopting her and his lawyer is having the paperwork sorted out. I'm putting his name down on the birth certificate too. Because of the nature of how she was created the father does not get a say in the matter. Which I'm so thankful for.

"Is that daddy?" I say sweetly to her, I see Chris smile even wider.
"That's right princess, I'm your daddy" he bops her on the noise and I can't help but giggle.
"Already a daddy's girl then?" Millie asks
"Most definitely" I pass her to Chris while I go and sign all the paperwork.
"Okay guys, that's everything. You ready?"
I take a deep breath and look at chris who is smiling from ear to ear.
"More then ready"
We walk out to the car and get her strapped in. Chris is of course a pro at getting the seat inside.

"Show off" he giggles and wraps his arms around me "practise baby"
He kisses me softly "let's go take out baby girl home"
I nod "yes please"
We drive to pick Avery up and she is so excited to see Lizzie. We then drive back home. This is it, a new chapter. All of us together. I've never been so happy.
