"I need you!"

Jongin nearly chokes on a crab puff pastry and grabs a red napkin from the table to cover his mouth.

"Wh-what's gotten into y--"

"Come on!" Kyungsoo grabs his wrist and starts to pull him, and Jongin starts to realize that Kyungsoo's not talking about the same dirty thing he's thinking.

"What's wrong, Kyungie?"

The man stops briefly and turns around.

"Ew. Don't call me that." He says before continuing his run.

And though this didn't stop him from being unprecedentedly cute, he had no further explanations for location or situation of dire emergency. They step out into the dark cool hallway and Kyungsoo seems temporarily lost for a moment looking both ways frantically. The spill of music and the warmth of the full room start to fade as he starts down the dark hall and Jongin offers his cell phone light so that they knew where they are heading. Kyungsoo is used to wealth, but damn, did the Parks have money. It's not just a matter of being able to afford nice vacations and summer homes, this is private jet and island level banking status.

He becomes suddenly aware as he looks around that he could let go of Jongin's hand now, that they are no longer in need of a held hand but he just likes the way it feels now. Instead, he loosens his hold ever so slightly and is treated to a brisk stroke of Jongin's thumb over his knuckles.

What the hell is he doing? He's not gay. He was in love with his best friend, but he's dated only women. He can't be gay. It's just lingering bullshit from his youth. It's not real. It's just...

Jongin tightens his hold and pulls Kyungsoo closer suddenly and he almost objects but for the whispered "shhh" breathed against his cheek.

Kyungsoo manages to weasel his way free of Jongin's hold and slowly, quietly peeks around the corner. They watch as a drunken Baekhyun spins around in circles in the middle of the hall as Mr. Park leans against the wall and watches.

"Are you done yet?" He asks.

"No!" Baekhyun yells.

Jongin elbows Kyungsoo and they exchange a look of confusion.

"You're going to vomit." Chanyeol says matter of factly.

"So?" Comes the loud reply from the stumbling man.

He totters to one side and then falls on his butt with a loud exclamation.

"Ow! What is this floor made of?! Bricks?"

Chanyeol chuckles lightly and walks over to offer him a hand.

"Nope, Marble. Here."

Baekhyun slaps the hand away and stands on his own, stumbling his way to the wall for support.

"I don't want your help, my ass hole hurts partially from you. ASSHOLE!" Despite the bite to his words, he still bursts out laughing as if this joke were original.

"Look, I'm sorry. I was out of line, Baekhyun. You... you're the one who--"

"Right, right. It's my fault, as usual. It's always my fault. Baekhee not getting into the right college, Baekhee running away, now, Baekhee not getting married. Always my fault. I'm sooooo sorr--" He cuts himself off with a loud echoing hiccup. "--y. Hiccup. That was a hiccup, not a burp, your highness. Don't get pissy about it."

Kyungsoo's shoulders relax and Jongin puts his hand to Kyungsoo's back and strokes it gently to calm him just in case he was still tense. The two didn't seem to be violent and Baekhyun didn't seem to be physically in harm's way, but still, Jongin had to be careful. This is his boss, at the end of the day. And while he'll do what he has to if he's doing what's right, he also doesn't want to start needless drama.
