Bendy, Boris and Alice stood before you, greeting you into this brightly lit place. The room was laid out in an oval format. You would walk around, and a door should open for you on the other side, and then you could come back. But the door on the opposite side didn't open for you as you went up to it, and frankly, you didn't really want to listen to Joey's touring voice right now.

After walking around for a while to look for a way forward you noticed a vent system on the wall's floor, with its grate a little banged up. Kneeling down to survey it, you found that you could easily fit in there, no problem. A bit claustrophobic, but nothing you couldn't handle. You hit it hard with your Gent Pipe, and the grate indented more. Swinging it again caused it to break apart and shatter onto the floor before you. You squeezed yourself inside, lowering your back so you didn't feel the roof on top of you.

A few lights flickered above, making you slightly anxious. But with a small amount of grit, you pushed forward and hit the opposite grate to get out. This side was a lot more worn down as it broke on first impact. Using your knees for support to get up, you noticed the table beside you with many goods for you to take.

'Don't mind if I do.' You took a snack called a "Bendy Bar", which you wished was a thing nowadays to bring for lunch. Taking a bite, it was obviously stale. But it tasted like honey, which made you smile. Five slugs were left a strewn on the table, which you gratefully took, as well as some more Gent parts. There was a toolkit on the table, but you left it since you already had one.

There was a lever on the other side of the corridor, which you assumed was for the stubborn rolling door. A note stood beside it, which was signed by a Thomas Connor. Intrigued, you picked it up and put it in your pocket for safe keeping. Once you had pulled down the lever, you could hear the sound of the door moving,  proving your theory right.

Getting out of the ventilation system, you ran through the room and headed over to the open door. 'Why is there always a ceiling collapse whenever I open a door?' you asked yourself quietly as you crouched underneath it. A stairway led down before you, making you feel slightly anxious. What kind of thing down there wants to kill me now? You walked slowly down the stairs, only to hear a lullaby music box playing.

Confused you squint down to look at the room before you to see what was inside. And you were surprised at what you saw. Bendy sat behind a barred door, playing by himself with a model train. He looked to be just smaller than you in height, even smaller than the cut outs. His face showed innocence and being blissfully unaware that you were watching him. He was... adorable...

Move out of the way plushies, a new cute thing has entered the building, you thought as you rested your hands on the bar. I pray that he's friendly...

You slowly opened the door, trying hard not to disturb him. The creak of the door's lack of oiling disrupted that plan. He looked up at the noise and his sweet and pure smile left as he looked at you. He quickly stood up and dropped his toy, looking at your with a hint of fear.

'Hey, whoa no, it's okay!' You put your hands in front of you, trying to relax him. It didn't do anything, he just looked at you in worry. You wondered what was going on in their mind. '...Bendy?' you asked, trying to get him to recognise that you were human inside. At this, his eyes widened and he quickly grabbed his toy in defence. 'It's okay, Bendy...' you took a step forward, holding your hands out to show you had no intent of hurting him. You placed your Gent Pipe on the ground, hoping he would calm down.

He looked at you with curiosity but backed up as you took a step forward. 'I can't believe you're real...' you mumbled in awe as you looked him up and down. He backed up again. You soothed your voice, making it as friendly as you could. 'It's okay, I won't hurt you... I promise.' You brought your left hand up towards him and offered it with sympathetic eyes to accompany it. He looked at it, but slowly creeped forward. You nodded and gave him a warm smile. A tiny grin peeked out of him, as he rested his hand on yours. You held it reassuringly, and his curious and warm smile returned.

'See?' You said sweetly as you felt your cheeks warm in happiness. You had always wanted to meet Bendy when you were younger, even going as to making him your imaginary friend, but this was truly breath taking.

Heed our warning...

A jolt of heat electrified your hand, and it shot through toward Bendy's gloved hand. He jolted back in pain, shock on his poor face. 'Oh! I'm sorry, I-' His face registered upset and betrayal, hurting your heart. 'Bendy, please! I didn't mean it!' He grabbed his toy that he dropped in the commotion and turned to run away. Before you could stop yourself, you brought your right hand up and grabbed his arm. He turned his head to look at you with fear in his eyes, and you give him a pleading stare. 'I swear I didn't mean it... I don't know what's wrong with me...' He stopped and looked to the ground, thinking as the tears in his eyes started to recede. You let go, understanding you were in the wrong.

Suddenly, he ran into you and wrapped his arms around you, dropping his toy. You yelped at the motion, but realised he just wanted to hug you. You fell into the hug yourself and wrapped your arms around him too. Your heights were quite similar, he was only just shorter than you. It was perfect for hugs.

'I'm so sorry, Bendy... I really am... I swear to you that I'm your friend... I don't want to hurt you...' you said quietly, and he let go with a look of joy and trust. He was so willing to forgive you after a simple apology, it made you a bit sad... He jumped up and down on his feet, just like a cartoon would if they were excited. It immediately made you giggle and brighten your mood. He let out a small whistle which made you stop. 'Can... can you talk?' you asked, gesturing to your mouth. He shook his head, and whistled again, but it had a sadder tone to it. 'Hey, that's okay! Do you want to join me? I'm trying to get out of here,' you said, trying to change the topic.

He tapped his shoe in thought, and then gave you a thumbs up. You clapped in happiness at having a new accomplice... a friend. 'Thank you, thank you!' you erupted with glee. He grabbed his toy off the ground and dusted it slightly, ready for a journey. 'Let's go, Bendy!' you exclaimed, too overjoyed to think about keeping your voice down.

He whistled in reply, and you walked forward, quickly grabbing your Gent Pipe before you left the room.
