'Just let me be beautiful... help me be beautiful!' Alice cried a loud with a whiny voice, reloading and cocking her gun in upset. You stay silent, staring at the ladder you had to climb down again. I need to flip all of those switches, don't I? You groan, only for Alice to perk her ears at your annoyance. 'There you are!' she cried as she shot in your direction, you quickly moved to the side to let the metal wall protect you.
Alice grumbled angrily as her bullets turned up dry and she had to reload. You took the opportunity to climb back down the ladder, jumping off half-way hearing her cackle again. You peer your head around the metal wall and saw her surveying the area for you. She looked upset... 'I don't want to go...' she whimpered in a squeaky voice before angrily snarling in a low growl. 'Help me be beautiful, you little runt!'
You dash along past her to the other metal wall, and she yelled in rage at missing you. You sighed with relief and looked around at your new surroundings. Walking past a pile of useless boxes, you found a locked door leading to a recharge station. Taking the opportunity, you swing your pipe at it and rush over to the station, placing your Gent Pipe inside of its slot. You popped a battery into the deposit box and turned the crank. It was surprisingly easier to turn as you got more and more used to it.
The progress bar completely filled, you yank the pipe out and wave it around slowly in the air, glad to have some defence back. Is this even the same one? You had given yours away to the Keepers as a safety precaution, so you didn't know. 'I've got all day!' Alice yelled out to you, but you ignored her threatening voice.
You walked back over to the boxes and looked up to where she was. She was squinting her eyes as she stared out into the distance, looking for you. 'Where did you go?' She growled in frustration, putting a hand on his hips. You smirk at fooling her, but the smile quickly evaporates as you remember your situation. You shift your gaze to see another balcony, which you wondered if there was another lever to throw up there. You flowed to the top and jumped off the balcony's fencing onto the hanging flooring.
Seeing you do this, Alice shrieked with pleasure as she began shooting at you once more. You ducked and rounded the corner quickly. I can't catch a break! You had back yourself up into a barricade door, making you jolt feeling the bars touch your back. Whipping around, you were relieved to find that it was only the door, and nothing else. You jam your pipe into the designated hole and threw the lever, the stiff bars retracting and the door opening against your will. Another control panel identical to the last waved to you, and you rushed over to it.
A single monitor was lit up, showing an entrance way with an angel's halo printed onto it in messy and thick ink. You flipped the switch below it and heard Alice. 'No.' She growled, and you didn't know whether or not she was talking about something you did or was merely talking to herself in a delusional way. Probably the second option. You poked your head around the corner, but that was enough for her to spot you.
She lashed her hair over her shoulder and whipped out her tommy gun, shooting without a care in the world in your direction as she howled with laughter. You slid your head back from view and waited for her to run out of ammo. Once she did, you dashed for it. You jumped off the balcony and landed on the pile of boxes, crushing them under your weight. You winced at the erupting pain in your legs but ignored it as you kept running to the other side. She narrowly misses your head, a bullet nearly scraping the top of your scalp as you lowered your head.
'Stay still, sweetheart! It will only take a shot to your brain finish you off!' You grimaced at her words but kept moving. The other corresponding balcony called to you, so you jumped onto the other pile of boxes and flowed up to it. She shot at you as you ascended but couldn't hit you as you maneuvered with grace.
You crouched low to avoid her searing rage and went underneath a wall collapse. You heard her in front of you behind a few obstacles and an intrusive thought came to mind. 'What if I...' No. You really didn't want to do that. But is there any other choice? She would blow your head off if you didn't... You looked to the ground and furrowed your brow, conflicted. Finally, you gave up trying to be moral. Once you threw her off the balcony, you'd free her soul. Then she could be at rest. It was for the best...
Stalking low and making sure to be undetected, you crawled along the floor and swerved among many boxes of parts and toys, reaching behind Alice. It was weird seeing her blissfully unaware like this. 'Where did you go?~' she said with a low and soothing voice. You had to do this. You slowly got up and reached your hands out to push her. Suddenly she faltered and her knees weakened, she put her hands on her face is sorrow. 'I don't want to go, please... help me...' You stopped in your tracks hearing her whiny and high voice again. Stop making me feel conflicted!
'Help me... Help me be beautiful!' She shouted in upset and hatred, shooting at the opposite wall in anger at not finding you. 'I just want what was promised to me...' she growled. You finally worked up the courage and pushed her. She tumbled a little, but twisted around fast enough to stop her from falling and grabbed you. 'How dare you touch me, you filthy little rat!' She held your face tightly and slowly brought her tommy gun to your face, you shivering in fear as the blood ran from your fingers.
'Come to Alice!~' She cooed in your ear, and you quickly swung your pipe at her head, making her tumble off the side. 'NOOO!' She was still latching onto you, so she brought you down with her. You fell and hit your side, but her arms cushioned you. Sadly, it wasn't enough to knock her out of her misery. She got up as fast as she could and pinned you to the ground with her foot. 'Final curtain, baby...' She whispered, once again aiming the deadly thunderous weapon at you. You shrivelled back and closed your eyes, waiting for the bang.
Instead, an audible gasp reverberated around you, and you opened your eyes to see a familiar katana protruding out of Alice's chest. She stared in shock at the blade and looked back to you, frightened. The blade shrunk back as it was pulled out of her body, the slimy sound of it coming out making you want to gag. 'Ugh-' She held her chest and slowly fell to the side, Allison behind her. She grabbed Alice's side before she hit the floor and brought her into a more comfortable position.
You stared, astonished at the perfect timing Allison always seemed to have. Alice stared in awe at Allison, bringing her shaky hand to touch her cheek. 'My... face... you have my face...' Tears sprung into her eyes. Allison only gave her a look of pity back. 'It's our face, Susie.' Alice stared at her for a moment before smiling sweetly as her tears hit the floor. 'I'm beautiful... so... pretty...' She groaned and lowered her hand. Allison brushed the hair from Alice's face and smiled back. 'You always were.' Alice's teeth showed as he laughed. A genuine, beautiful laugh. Her head lowered as her eyes closed.
'I'm... beautiful.'
A sudden figure behind Allison immediately broke your hypnosis of the moment. What appeared to be Boris the Wolf rested a hand on Allison's shoulder. She said she had a wolf... 'Alright,' Allison said, laying Alice down carefully before looking to you. 'Are you okay?' You nodded quietly. She smiled. 'I told you I would find you.' Boris cocked his head to the side as he looked at you. 'Tom, this is Y/N.' He stared at you in silence.
