The rolling door entrance slowly opened, and you both lowered your heads slightly to get through quicker. A dark and foreboding corridor was on the other side, and an audio log was noticeable on top of a barrel.

You flicked the play button and sat there listening, Bendy playing with his fingers. "I don't like to ask questions..." an unrecognisable voice mumbled in the speaker, and Bendy already looked bored. "I believe everyone's got their own... business. You hear somethin', you leave it alone!"  You reached into your pocket and brought out his toy train, and his eyes lit up. "Well when you spend this much time in and out of a joke as I am, you learn to keep your mouth shut about things, you know?"

Bendy grabbed the toy and started to play with it on the ground while you continued to listen to this man's voice. It was really... soft. Surprised you. "So when I saw this newspaper that reads, 'Gent Corporation looking for research subjects paid $3.50 a week', I figured it would be good for me." Back then it might of seemed like a good job for a fella his age, but now that seems like a rip-off. "Easy money, right? With my record, you can't afford to be picky!"

"But turns out, somethin' really wrong is goin' on in this place... I mean, I've seen dead people before, but here... death is like a way of life! A clock-work march..." Oh geez... Bendy was absent-minded, blissfully unaware of what was going on in the tape. "They wheel out the bodies, and they disappear down the chute. Forgotten men from the street, paid to die! ... $3.50 a week..." The audio cut off, and you felt a pit in your stomach. This Gent Corporation absolutely disgusted you for this... what were they even testing?

'Come on, Bendy. The audio's done.' He nodded and grabbed his train off the floor, picking himself up and dusting himself off. You walked forward and he trailed behind, clutching his toy in his gloved hands. The rolling door ahead opened as you walked forward, and you immediately noticed the hospital bed at the end of the hall, covered by an ink-stained white sheet of cloth. A body was definitely under there...

You gulped at the thought of how decayed they must be under there, being left alone here. Something always disturbed you about hospitals, how everything was clean and sterile, too cautious... now its so much worse with messes spread across the floor. It wasn't exactly a hospital, but it surely reminded you of one. Wax candles were left strewn all over the floor, still lit to give light in the quiet and desolate halls.

You quickly walk through the room to get away from the bodies and head over to the next door, only to find that it needs a door code. Shoot... 'Let's have a look around...' you say and look over to Bendy, who gave you a thumbs up. He seemed unfazed about the filled hospital bed at all, and was already looking around for a code.

You walked up to the counter and thought for a moment. You raised your hand and pointed it over to the other side of the counter and allowed your body to move across the space in a fluid-like motion, flowing over to the over side. 'Let's see...' you murmured to yourself, having a quick look around.

You go down the small cellar toward a strange figure you had noticed around the place. It seemed to be a pipe that dripped every now and then into a miniature cesspool of the filth. The works "Linker" above. 'What is this even for...?' you whisper under your breath, and then something cates your eye to the left of you. Turning your head, you notice three number scrawled onto the wall on the opposite side of a chain-link fence. 5-2-3.

'Bendy, you can quit searching! I found what we need...' Bendy gave an approving whistle as he stopped making random background noises and waited for you to come back. You ran back through the small cellar and jumped, raising your hand and flowing to the other side, skidding to a halt. Bendy gave a polite clap at your stunt, to which you bowed slightly. After a bit of joking around, you head over to the door code and twist the numbers to get them in the correct order. 5-2-3...

A ding sounded and you saw the door open at your command. You nodded to Bendy to tell him that you were going to set off once more. It was dark again, boxes were placed on the side of the hallway in front of you, with a big room opening at the end of it. 'Come on,' you coaxed Bendy forward, but he seemed more reluctant for this hallway. His face looked upset, having remembered something. 'I'm here, Bendy. We can do this.' He shifted his gaze to the floor, still not wanting to go. Hearing you sigh, his face took on a look of resignation, allowing himself to go.

You took his hand and led him through the corridor toward the big expanse of a room. 'Thank you. We'll go out of here in a jiffy, no problem at-' The door behind you shut and Bendy's grip on your hand tightened, as if he knew what was going to happen and was bracing for it. 'Bendy?' you mutter quietly, looking at the room around you. In front of you was a few screens littered around a huge one, one that would normally be seen in movie theatres, a giant television without the antenna.
