Since you both were rather small, you went around Bendy so you could go first. 'I'll lead, just listen out for anything, okay?' Bendy saluted playfully with a mischievous grin to hide his fear, even though he was clearly shaking. You sympathetically look into his eyes for a moment, and then turn to face forward and continue.

You both crawled as silently as you could, trying hard to not draw attention to the vents. Could they even get inside here? You didn't want to find out. After a while you came across a vent grate, which you hit open after a few swings. 'Alright...' you say, surveying the area with Bendy looking over your shoulder in a wallowing pit of stress. 'You need to stay close to me. We're heading over there, but we need to evade that guy.' You put emphasis in your whispers so it would stick into his head and he wouldn't get any irrational ideas, because these guys looked like they could choke you to death in seconds. You didn't want to risk it.

The Keeper skulked their way around, watching out of the escapees with a keen eye... or... light? When he was going in the opposite direction, you slowly let yourself out of the vent and waited for Bendy to follow suit. With both of you out, you took his hand and dragged him along, half running straight for the boarded off door. The Keeper didn't seem to notice, as he kept his pace going away from you both. You ducked under the board, but misjudged your footing. Your foot hit against a slightly off floorboard and you yelped in pain. A sickeningly high screech sounded and you saw Bendy's eyes dilated you quickly yanked him on the other side of the boards, safe from the grasp of the Keeper. It hissed and writhed on the other side having lost his prey, while you both breathed out heavily.

'Sorry...' you finally gasped out, and Bendy shook his head with a small smirk spread across his face. Having a look around the room, you saw an audio log sitting on a table along with a few stray batteries. Bendy took the batteries off the table while you flicked on the audio log. It was a Keeper talking, and you both immediately repulsed into a slouching position, cringing at the heavy breathing on the speaker.

"Experiment Thirteen..." It's voice crackled and oozed into each other, and you backed away, hating the noises in the background. "The Ink Demon is successfully sedated for transport..." 'They sedated you?' you asked as Bendy looked away. You knew they had obviously done something to Bendy, but taking him away and making him an experiment... that was too far. Even if he was in his Ink Demon state. "Laboratory Nine is prepared for arrival at the receiving bay... Be advised that sedation will not last forever. Termination must commence immediately upon reception..."

Termination? The thought of the Keepers killing the Ink Demon made you scoff. Likely story. "Wilson will expect a detailed report of the creature's demise..." You looked over at Bendy, who's knees looked wobbly. Seems like they didn't finish the job anyway. But even thinking about the Keepers trying to harm him made anger rise in you... you pushed it down. There was no need for to lash out, because you needed to be quiet. For Bendy's sake.

The log had a long pause, but the unsettling breathing could still be heard. Finally, the sound clicked off, and the tape ended. 'Alright... it's done.' Bendy nods and hands you the batteries, which you took and gave a genuine smile in return. He had also found some slugs, which he plonked into your hands. Popping them in your pocket, you surveyed the room. There was no door leading forward, but a lever was on the wall beside the entrance. Bendy pointed to it eagerly, seeming to completely forget about the audio log.

'Do you wanna pull it?' You ask, smirking a little at his joy. 'Okay, go ahead.' He ran up to it and jumped, reaching his right hand high to grab hold of the handle and his left hand holding his train. He missed the first try, but after a higher jump, he grabbed hold of the bar and pulled it down as gravity did to him. A whirring sounded and you gave him a pat on the back. 'Nice work! Now we just have to evade this guy again... and he seems pissed.' You looked over at the Keeper, who was on the other side of the room, looking more hostile. Had he forgotten where you both ran off to? You hoped so.

He was looking to your direction, but soon turned back around to go over to a chest and examine its contents. Now. You knelt low and crawled down toward the rolling door that has opened to the left of you, and Bendy trailed behind quietly. This time you were keeping aware of what was in front of you, while watching the Keeper from the corner of your eye.

Successfully reaching the rolling door, you found yourself in a hallway leading down toward a room full of huge canisters, the number nine visibly painted on the one in front. You nodded to Bendy and you both stretched your legs and headed down the hallway, only to stop as you noticed another Keeper patrolling the area. 'Oh, are you serious? You bloody screwing with me...' You hit your forehead with the palm of your free hand, and Bendy looks at you with a baffled expression. 'Sorry, bud. I'm just sick and tired of being the enemy here. Why can't we just be friends with everyone?'

He shakes his head, his face showing pity. You know that's not how the world works. Sighing, you nod. 'Yeah, yeah...' You kneel back down and Bendy follows. Pointing over to the next place you sneak to, you gestured for him to stay close. He listened.
