'Ugh...' you groaned, waking back up from your momentary break. Your eyes flickered open and you looked at the ceiling. You were still in the same room. 'Bendy?' you croaked, lifting your head to look for your friend. 'Hello?' The walls surrounding you started to grow darker as ink trailed along its surface. 'What...' you whispered to yourself, looking at the strange phenomenon happening before you.
The Ink Demon arose from the inky mass on the floor, and you shrunk back in surprise. 'Bendy!' you said happily. 'Thank you, I-' you stopped yourself, looking at the malicious grin of the Ink Demon as he stared at you. '...I...' This wasn't Bendy right now.
The floor started to move with the flowing ink as well, as if commanded by the presence of this strange entity. This god-like figure.
It's time, Y/N...
He drew closer to you, his oddly shaped feet plonking onto the ground with a thud on each step. You tried to crawl away, but your leg hurt to move.
It's time for your purpose... your true purpose... to shine.
'N-....no...' you stuttered, clutching your pipe. 'I don't want to hurt you, Bendy... please don't do this.' A thunderous and erupting low chuckle sounded throughout the room, the vibrations moving the floor.
He reached you and lowered to your face, kneeling down on his scrawny legs to talk to you.
Your road is broken, you have no chance...
He gestured to your legs, and you furrowed your brow in worry at what this monster would do to you. His mouth didn't move when he talked, confirming your thought that he was talking in your mind.
Join the Dark Puddles... join your everlasting destiny... and give in to your suffering.
'No...' you whimpered as you grimaced. The pain in your leg was getting worse as the ink in the floor rose. 'I... I have-'
You have nothing. You are without purpose on the wrong path... Your very existence... your mother's love for you... was a terrible lie... What she raised you on-
'My mother cares about me, and you can't say otherwise!' you shout at his face, stopping him. 'Even if she isn't a human, she still loved me. She still cared. You're just sad that you don't have-' You stopped yourself, hearing an angered snarl erupt from him. I took it too far.
You're a mistake... no wonder you were adopted by another...
You scrunched up your face in anger but didn't say anything. You didn't want to say anything you would regret later.
Look at you, mutated into this thing... this mistake... a monster...
You glared at him, and he lowered his head.
Like me.
'But you're not!' you cry out, throwing your Gent Pipe away. You wanted to prove you wouldn't hurt him. 'You're the same loveable demon I fell in love with from a very young age! I remember watching my first ever cartoon of you, and I immediately couldn't think of anything else... you changed my childhood, Bendy...'
He stared at you for a moment.
I'm not him... he couldn't make you stronger... but I can. I will make you strong. I will not you meaningful...
Please... You shifted slightly backward, tears starting to well up in your face. It was useless to try and bring Bendy back on your own.
It's time... Your purpose is now realised, Y/N... The power of the Demon... the purity of the Angel... Together... the Dark Puddles shall awaken.
He held out his hand to you for you to take, and you went to rest your hand in his palm. But something stirred within you, making you falter. No. You raised your hand and placed it back down onto the ground.
What do you mean, "No"? I am all you have left, my friend...
'You aren't my friend. Bendy is.' The Ink Demon snarled and drew his hand back to rake it into your face.
So be it.
He thrashed his hand down, but he erupted into a shrilling cry as he drew his hand back. His inky fingertips were steaming from your touch.
What have you done?
'I... I don't know.' He tried to hit you again with the back of his hand, but at the touch of your skin, he drew his hand back in pain.
I see... you're too blessed for a demon to touch... I'll just have to compromise.
He lifted his steaming hand into the air.
Arise, my domain! See to it this filthy angel is dead on your arrival...
Lost One started to come out of the ink, from doors, and from the balconies surrounding the place. They surrounded the two of you, and the Ink Demon snarled maliciously.
Checkmate, Y/N.
A thunderous sound of gunshots erupted into the room as someone burst out of a door on the balcony. Both you and the Ink Demon's attention turns over to Allison, who is shooting down any Lost One she sees. 'Y/N! Hang tight!'
'Allison!' you cried happily, seeing many Lost Ones drop to the ground. They got replaced by more and more, however. 'Tom, I need some help over here!' She yelled out, and something ginormous ran into the room through the entrance door. Tom was riding Big Steve, the friendly giant you had met a while ago. He charged and ripped any Lost One to shreds who dared come in his path.
Allison had kept her word. She had come back for you.
