'Uhm... sorry to interrupt... whatever this is, but I have to go back to my cell now. They're probably looking for me... they told me Uncle would be coming soon, so I have to be there! You'll find that the door is opened now, so you can go into the Pit...' Heidi hopped out of the boxes and started to walk away, but she stopped and turned back to you. 'Oh! Here, I want to give you a gift! A little reminder of our game together...' She walked back over to you and took your hand, Bendy let go of you to watch what she was about to do.
Heidi closed her eyes and places her other hand over yours, covering it entirely. A familiar hum rang in your ears, the same hum as when Porter transferred you the ability to flow to different areas. She let go and smiled meaningfully at you. 'There we are! Bye now, Y/N! Cya around, Bendy!' She waved goodbye, and you both waved back. When she disappeared, you held out your hand. 'What exactly did she give me?' Bendy snapped his fingers and gestured for you to follow him.
He led you over to a "Linker" pipe, one of the pipes you had seen earlier in the cellar. Bendy grabbed hold of your arm and dragged you into the Linker's inky abyss, and you screamed. 'What are you-' you couldn't finish you sentence as you fell inside. You felt... nothing. Everything was gone. Bendy planned to betray you this whole time? You couldn't believe it. As soon as you thought this, you felt a slight tugging on your arm. Bendy was dragging you to the surface of the ink. Second thoughts?
Your head surfaced, and Bendy tugged you out of the Linker with all of his might. Your body flopped out, and the ink drenching you quickly fell onto the ground. You coughed and hacked, but noticed you were somewhere completely different. Bendy looked at you with a slight twinge of guilt.
Sorry, I didn't warn you what I was about to do... I was just so excited that you could now do something I can do!
'What is that exactly?' you managed to get out of you, holding your chest with one hand as you breathed in and out slowly.
You can travel between Linkers now. As the Ink Demon, I can travel everywhere and anywhere I so please, but my abilities are reduced like this... But I can travel between these Linkers spread around the studio.
'That's... that's awesome!' You were astonished, but mainly relieved that Bendy had no malicious intent with his action. 'But... how did you know Heidi was going to give me this ability?' He looked at you expectantly in reply, waiting for you to figure it out yourself. The gears in your head churned in sync with the background noise of the gears surrounding this studio, until it finally clicked in your mind.
'...Heidi did you Flow to get up on the balcony fast, she used the Linker to get up there! You must've followed too, or let her know that you could use it too at least, right?' He nodded, glad that you understood. 'Geez, you gave me a fright though! I thought you were trying to drown me!' you laughed, but Bendy didn't seem to think it was funny. He lowered his head in shame. 'Oh! No, no, it's fine! I'm a bit skittish is all. You didn't mean anything wrong, so it's all good.' He nodded silently, his smile slowly returning.
'Come on, let's go to the Pit. We need to see if Alice is safe.' Bendy's smile immediately faltered at her name. You didn't notice. 'Okay...' you murmured at the sight of the Linker, not really ready to go back. You sighed and clenched onto your Gent Pipe as you jumped in. The darkness consumed you once more, and you soon felt nothing once more. No sounds, no touch, no life. A sudden and harsh hand grabbed hold of you and dragged you upwards, confusing you. YOu erupted to the surface once more and inhaled deeply, Bendy staring at you in surprise. As soon as you got your bearings and stood up, he rushed over to you and hugged you tightly.
You were in there for so long! I had to go back in and drag you out.
You have to go straight back up after you enter, you have to.
Down there is in between the Dark Puddles and here, which you need to get out of as soon as possible!
He rambled on in your mind and he tightly embraced you, not thinking about how his train was jabbing at your side. 'Bendy, I'm sorry, I didn't know... I thought I would just surface on my own.' Bendy shook his head, relief overflowing off of him.
I guess we're even about scaring each other now...
You nodded, snickering. 'Come on, we have to keep moving.' Bendy gave you a thumbs up and let go of you, rushing over to the balcony and waiting for you to flow down to the bottom. You head over but freeze in your tracks. The Keeper was now out of the vent and back to roaming around the area, patrolling and waiting for you both. 'Bendy, get ready to turn around and dash under the wooden boards, okay?' Bendy looked at you confused but nodded at your command. You grabbed hold of his hand and held on tight.
Lifting your hand that held your weapon, you allow both of your bodies to transport to the floor, and the Keeper screeched in rage at seeing you both. Bendy squeaked in fear and did as you had told him, and you followed behind. Leaning down, you dove under the boards just before the Keeper could grab your legs.
It hissed in rage at your second escape and writhed away, leaving you two to huff on the other side. 'That was close...' Bendy agreed with you as you both sat in silence, listening to your heavy breaths as you two panted in shock from yet another near-death experience.
