'Bendy...' you whispered, pointing toward the Lost One who was on the other side of the path. '...What do we do?' He stepped back, wary of the creature as it hummed to itself, seemingly busy at work on something. It's back was turned, not showing his face, but you couldn't help but get a weird aura from them. They didn't seem too vicious if they were humming such a merry tune. Then you recognised it.

'Bendy, he's humming your theme music,' you mumbled under your breath, which made him get happy and clap his hands in joy. The Lost One heard this and looked up, turning around. 'Oh... dear,' you muttered, and Bendy gave an awkward smile to them. A strange and cheery chuckle erupted from them as they turned away from you both. Reaching his hand out and pointing it into the direction forward, he snapped his fingers... and he was gone. 'What?' you were in awe at what he just did, and Bendy seemed to be too.

He jumped up and down and rustled you to get your attention. He pointed in the direction of where the Lost One was and seemed to be overjoyed that others had peculiar powers like you. 'Yeah, it was very interesting, bud. We should probably have a talk with this guy...' He nodded his head up and down eagerly, and set off running towards a control panel. 'Uh, Bendy wai-' He was already busy pulling a lever down, and getting ready for a path to open for you guys to get to the other side.

A ginormous pipe was slowly lowering itself down to be in level with the path, four long and old chains holding it in place. Bendy rushed back over to you, getting you to come along. 'Looks like someone's got a lot of energy!' You giggled and let him push you onto the unsteady pipe. 'Be careful, bud. This looks rather unsteady, so just watch your step.' It didn't seem he was listening. He walked along it, holding both his arms up - with his toy still in hand - for balance.

You chuckled and shook your head, and then walked slowly along it's surface. Getting onto the other side, you heard a strange creak, and then a loud crack. One of the chains had broken off, and Bendy was still on the pipe. 'Bendy!' Without thinking, you quickly grabbed hold of Bendy's hand and yanked him forward, only getting him off the pipe just in time. He fell on top of you at your strength, and you heard another crack. One of the pipe's sides fell with having no support on it, and then it fell into the cavernous abyss. No thud sounded, it just seemed to go on forever...

Bendy looked startled and frightened, holding onto your shirt tightly as both of your hearts pounded. '...This is why you should've been careful...' you said slowly, catching your breath, and a low whistle replied back to you. Sorry...

'It's fine, let's just keep going. We need to catch up with this guy,' you hop up and dust off your dress, not that it matters, it was just second nature. You decided to lead this time, Bendy sticking behind you, clutching hold of his train tightly.

"The Machine Must Endure" was once again written on the wall, greeting you back into reality. 'Why does everyone worship this machine if it brings them here?' you asked Bendy, but he merely looked away in response.

Heading forward, you saw a tiny flood inside a welcoming room, so small to the point you could jump over it, which you did. Bendy followed you, letting out a small "Whee!" as he flew and landed flawlessly. In the distance, you hear someone grunting. 'Do you hear that?' You flicked your eyes over to Bendy, who nodded. You both creep around and peered through inside of a tunnel, and saw the Lost One was stuck in a cluster of thick ink. 'Oh!' He said, seeing you both looking at him.

'Hello, there! Are you, perchance... looking for the way out?' He spoke in a soft and bubbly voice, which immediately set you off guard. Most Lost One you had heard sounded raspy or croaky,  like they had ulcers in their throats. 'Uhm, yeah we are... are you stuck?' He chuckled and struggled a little, trying to free himself.

'Well, uh... yes. I am in a bit of a kerfuffle, but I'm afraid that means you're stuck too...' He looked down at his situation, once again trying to twist his way through. 'You obviously can't move...' He shook his head and chuckled once more. 'Not an inch... could you, perhaps, help me? Please?' You giggled and thought to yourself. 'What could we do, Bendy?' He tapped his shoe in thought and placed his hands on his hips.

Bendy walked over and grabbed hold of The Lost One's humerus and tugged, but he wasn't strong enough. 'I don't think that will work, bud...' you said, resting your hand on his shoulder caringly. He let go and gave you a look of Well, what else do you have in mind? 'I don't know...' You both sat in thought as the Lost One hummed to himself . You flexed your fingers as you tried to conjure up an idea.

Bendy suddenly bobbed up and down, a great big grin growing on his face. 'What's your idea, Bendy?' He grabbed hold of your left shoulder with one arm and pointed to your left hand with the other. 'Use my hand? How?' Bendy let go of you and headed of to the Lost One, and knelt down beside him. Raising his hand, he placed it down onto the ink carefully, demonstrating what he wanted you to do.

'Use Demise? But what if I hurt him in the process?' You worry for this Lost One, as they are the only one who has been kind enough to not kill you. Yet. Bendy shrugged. You have to try. Sighing, you walked over to him and sat beside him. 'I sure hope this works...' You looked dead in the eye of the thick ink, trying hard not to focus on the Lost One's or Bendy's piercing gaze.

The ink melted down, dissolving in on itself. The Lost One was freed, and you saw him fall down the tunnel. You were about to scream for him, but heard him having fun as he went down, as if he were a child on a slide. Bendy got up immediately and dived straight in after him, whistling with joy as he glided down. 'Uhm... oh god...' you couldn't see the bottom, but if they thought it wasn't dangerous... Here goes nothin'.

You jump down, shrieking as you descend.
