Henry went back to his work on his notebook, and you turned to Bendy. 'Come on, bud. Let's keep going.' Bendy gave you a quick thumbs up and you flipped your Gent Pipe in your hand. Looking around the Pit, there were other windows. Is Allison even here? Bendy pointed up to a ladder, taking you back on track. Focus on getting us out.
You head up to the ladder and rest your hands on the bars, wrapping your fingers on them. As you climbed you felt a sense of importance of yourself. That you were here for a good cause. Th thought made you smile. 'What's this?' you ask, seeing a few different items on display with the words "Contraband" written above. An axe, a vinyl record, and... some sort of contraption. Bendy shook his head, not knowing. You stared at these objects, pondering what they could have done to be placed as Contraband of all things. The axe makes sense, but a record? What even is that thing to the right?
You slowly turn the pipe around in your hand. Will these things be necessary? You breathe in slowly, and then hit the glass hard with your weapon. Bendy is surprised by your action and takes a step back as the shards of glass scatter and hit you both in the face with small clinks. 'Bendy, grab the axe. You might need it for your own weapon. I'll take... whatever this thing is.'
You grab hold of the strange device, which has foggy glass kept together by wires and blocks of wood. Bendy hefted the axe off the wall, but it immediately fell onto the ground with a thud. He looked up at you and awkwardly smiled, before grimacing as he tried to lift it off the ground. 'Uh, never mind it's okay-' He held out his hand to stop you, before showing his toy train to you, wanting you to hold it for him '...Okay...'
You took it off him and placed it into your pocket. He huffed out a heavy breath and tried again. This time he got it off the ground and slung it over his shoulder. 'There ya go!' you laugh and playfully slap him on the back. He gives a weak smile as his knees shake under the weight of his new weapon. 'You sure you don't want to leave it here?' Bendy shook his head roughly, as if it was preposterous for you to suggest that. 'Alright, it's your funeral.' you say simply and lift the strange mechanism you held to your eye. There seemed to be this strange glowing ink on the wall where it was, but you could only see it through this glass object.
'Interesting...' you mumble. Shifting your gaze around the room, you had a look around for any more of this glowing substance. Nothing. You sigh and lower the glass from your eye, only to see a flicker of light when it went past Bendy. Curious, you lift it to your eye again and peek at Bendy. It was behind him. 'Bendy... could you please turn around?' He gave you a confused look, but did as you asked slowly, heaving the weapon as he spun. A small gasp escaped your lips as you stared at Bendy. The glass revealed a glowing yellow tail on him, which made you smile in wonder. It flicked it curiosity at your face. Does he know it's there? 'Woah...'
He gestured to the glass, so you gave it to him. He brought it up to his face and looked at you through the glass. He dropped it in surprise. 'What's the matter?' you ask. And his smile grew as he stared at you. 'What did you see?' He drew a ring in the air with his finger, above his head. 'A halo?' He nodded. 'I saw a tail on you.' Bendy's eyes dilated at your words, and he immediately picked up this crude device once more, twisting it around so he could see this tail you were talking about. It flicked in response. He squealed out a high-pitched whistle in wonder. 'What is this thing?' you mumble as you wave your arm in the air above your head. No halo. '...Let's just keep moving.' You finally suggest, offering your hand out for Bendy to place the device on. He did, and you clasped it tightly with your left hand.
'There's the security override switch.' You point over to the lever on the wall on the opposite side of the floor, and Bendy nods shakily as he grabs hold of his axe from the floor. 'I'll flip it, you stay here. I'll be right back.' You rush over to it and pull it down, but it got stuck halfway. 'Come on...' you grunt, and you jump and put all of your body weight on it. It finally clicked down, and you let go in triumph. You turn around to see Bendy trying his hardest to swing his axe. It plonks to the ground, and he furrows his brow in anger.
You snickered and went back to him. 'Buddy, you can't use that...' you say, but he huffs in frustration at your comment.
I can do it.
'Fine, fine. Don't come complaining to me though.' You sigh and turn to look at the way forward. "The Pit" was written over some entrance text, and you cringed slightly at the thought of what could be in there. 'Let's see...' you mumble quietly as you walk forward, Bendy trailing behind awkwardly fumbling his axe.
You walked by a few jail cells, empty and barren. It... unsettled you a little. A slightly lit-up hallway greeted you past them, and a creepy corner was ahead of you both, conquering it showed a flickering light in another cell. Why does this place have to make me feel so small? You glance back to see Bendy staring at everything with suspicion, holding his axe weakly in defence. He looked to be more scared than you, and you couldn't blame him.
You keep heading forward and find a room with an entrance way. A small mutton was beside the door, which you pressed. It gave out a quiet click as the door started to make strange squeaking noises. Suddenly, everything stopped, and an alarm erupted with a microphone screeched loudly through speakers surrounding you. 'Unauthorised.' A Keeper boomed loudly, and Bendy slouched slightly with his eyes narrowing. He wanted to look tough, but you saw how limp his legs looked. Deep down he was terrified.
The ground started to shake, and he immediately stopped slouching down in defence and held onto your arm tightly. You console him silently, but a hatch in the floor started to open. You backed up against the locked door with Bendy in your tight grasp. It fully opened, revealing nothing. Silence took over the room, and you started to shiver from fear at whatever could crawl out of that hole. An odd-looking hand whipped out from it and grasped the floor tightly, and Bendy dug his squishy fingers into you with a frightened squeak.
Two more hands followed, and a Keeper's head poked out, not facing you both. It looked around the room, stalking for you two. You held out your pipe quietly, waiting. It finally noticed you and jumped out of the hole. You slid in front of Bendy to defend him, but the creature charged at you too quickly, grabbing your throat in a chokehold. You gasped for air and dropped your weapon in your struggle to rip his hands off of you. Bendy cried out and tried to hit him off. Your eyes started to close from lack of oxygen, and the last thing you saw was more Keepers coming out from in front of you as Bendy desperately tried to help you.
