Basil and Aubrey found Kel on the couch looking overwhelmed as they entered the house. Basil hated that he said those words right to his face. Hero looked at Aubrey and Basil with their hands full of Orange Joe and orange-flavored AirHeads. "Don't ask," Aubrey muttered then Aubrey went towards Kel and gave him a can of Orange Joe
"Stop with your moping, dork"
Kel looked up and wiped a tear from his eye "Aubrey...You didn't have to do that I'm perfectly fine! See?"
Kel placed on the biggest but the fakest smile ever. Aubrey saw right through Kel and even though she is rough and aggressive Aubrey still cares. "Kel...if something bad happened you can always talk to us and we can figure it out!" Hero said encouragingly.
Sunny sat next to Kel and patted his head. Kel noticed Basil and slightly pushed him away and inched away from Sunny. Hero sighed and turned to Basil "He's been doing this to Sunny all day. We don't know what's wrong with him but may I ask...
"Do you know what happened to Kel, Basil?"
Aubrey turned to Basil because she was the only one who knew but she wanted Basil to apologize to Kel and Sunny as well. Basil got nervous and everyone's eyes were on him Sunny went towards Basil and lifted up his hands and held them. "Do you know what happened, Basil? I-I really hate seeing people getting hurt... especially my friends."
Basil felt afraid and he shook his head multiple times.
"I-I don't know what happened"
Kel looked away from Basil
Aubrey frowned at Basil and then she sputtered out
"Do you want to tell them or should I?"
"Wh- What?..." Basil mumbled
>>CURSE WORD WARNING<<
"Did I fucking stutter?"
Hero looked at Aubrey sternly "Aubrey! Language!" Everyone looked around in silence. "Well?!" Aubrey huffed Basil was shaking "W-Well I-I..." Basil hesitated.
"Basil, What is happening?"
"Basil, What did you do?"
All the words and questions surrounding Basil made him rage.
Basil wanted to escape this mess
Basil just wants to disappear already
Then Basil snapped
"HOW ABOUT YOU TELL THEM AUBREY I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!"
Basil gasped and covered his mouth
He felt his legs trembling and shaking like he was gonna collapse
The guilt surrounds Basil once again
Just because of...Jealousy?...
"No..." Basil bolted out of the house as fast as he could. "Basil, wait!" Sunny shouted Hero held onto Sunny by his shoulders. "Let him be, Basil needs some space..." Sunny sank and agreed with Hero. Then Hero turned to Aubrey
"You got some explaining to do, Aubrey..."
