max began to skate home, after 20 ish minutes she arrived.
she opened the front door, which was again, unlocked.
the second she walked in the house she smelt the alcohol lingering around in the air, the smell of cigarettes as well.
max groaned as she slammed the door behind her.
Her mom has a bottle of beer in her hand and she was flopped on the couch asleep.
max took the beer out of her hand and put it away, then she proceeds to go shower, and to sleep.

mikes pov!
im gonna have the party over for a get together for Dustin's birthday party.
we've planned to do a suprise party!
well- i came up with that idea, i haven't informed the others.
It's quite late right now, so ill call them in the morning!
"MOOOOOOM" i hear Holly, my younger sister yell.
she probably wet the bed again..
she woke the whole house up, most likely..
despite being so little.. she's 5, she's so loud!
i flop myself down on my bed and try to go to sleep.
"sweet dreams, will." i say, hugging a photo of the party in 1982. the party when it was just us 4 boys.
before- everything.

i woke up to some phone calls, apparently mike has a important party meeting we have to attend if we wanna stay in the party, but we cannot tell dustin, for some reason.
hopper agreed to drive max and i.
we wait for max outside of her house.
"so, you and max are pretty close." hopper starts.
"yes."
"are you sure you're not more.. more than friends?"
"we're girlfriends"
"you are?"
"yes? why is it bad?"
"no! of course not." hop says.
hop honks the horn to signal max to 'hurry up'
i see max running out of the door and up to the car
she looks so effortlessly gorgeous.
"hey!" max says while opening the car door.
"good morning, maxy." el chuckles.
max playfully rolls her eyes.
"good morning, hopper."
"morning, kid."
we begin driving.

we planned out the suprise party for dustin, we're going to set our plan into motion soon!
on Friday afternoon, at 6.
i plan to spend the rest of the day with max.
yay!
right now we're walking- well, max is skating, im waking to the park.
"hey max."
"mhm?"
"do you remember that time when you were showing mike y-" el begins. "never mind."
"what!"
"it's nothing!" "let's keep going, okay."
max steps off of her skateboard and kisses her.
"i love you, elly"
"i love you too, max-"
