max hopped on her skateboard and began to skate, but then she realized el couldn't keep up with her.
max giggles
"you good, el?"
"yea!!" el runs, catching up to max
"let me give you a piggy back ride!!" max suggests.
"you sure im not to heavy?"
"are you calling me weak?"
"No!!"
"relax, I'm joking"
max bent over and el hopped on her back.
the two giggle and max continues to walk, el is on her back and her skateboard is under her arm.

max's back is aching from carrying el- a 15 year old girl on her back for 20ish minutes, but they're now at the party, all of max's pain would turn into laughter.
el held onto max arm as they walked through the door.
shit its packed.
max looked around mikes house trying to find any of the boys.
that's when max spotted Lucas, kissing a girl with brown hair.
"woah look at Lucas" max points out.
el groans.
"gross!"
"im offended!" max says, turning back to el.
"I never knew kissing looked so gross."
"that's not normal kissing, el."
"did you and Lucas kiss like that?"
"WHAT?!" max turns to el, her face turns red.
el looks at max, confused on her reaction.
"lets just get a drink, kay?" max suggests.
they go into the kitchen, assuming thats where the drinks are, and luckily they find mike and will.
they're both giggling, mike is holding a red plastic cup.
we approach them.
"what'cha got there?" max says, pointing at mikes cup.
"its this gross be-"
max doesn't let him finish what he was saying and takes the drink and walks away.
el giggles and as she's about to follow max, she gets distracted by mike.
"didn't know max owned a dress."
"She looks good." will says.
el turns her head too will.
"I mean, pretty."
"what I thought." el mumbles.
"so, el. might want to keep an eye on max, that drink she took is alcohol."
els eyes widen.
"why is there alcohol here!?"
"its my sisters birthday, I had to make it nice for her!"
"does Nancy even drink?"
"No."
"then what's the point?"
"for fun?" mike shrugs
"I mean, not like we're gonna get drunk, we're only 15." will interrupts.
"yeah, then why was mike drinking it?"
