maxs pov!
we stayed at our tent for most of the day, until we were called to dinner at the canteen.
of course, mr bustman was yelling at other students while they ate their dinner.
"Maxine, Michael! come here." mr bustman yells when he sees us.
first we set our food down then we walk over, "mhm?" mike questions.
"im just telling Alice here about why..." he went on and on about some stupid stuff, it just went through one ear and out the other. Mike looked shocked but I wasn't paying much attention.
"so, in your relationship.. who pays for the dates?" Mr bustman asks staring me dead in the eyes, does he think we're dating...
mike and I shoot each other a 'wtf ' look, before turning back to the teacher.
"uhm.. were not dating.." mike says, obviously weirded out, "good for you.." Alice mumbles. has she seriously not learnt her lesson? I can tell mike heard it because he's glaring at her, "is that all you needed?"I roll my eyes and give Alice a snarky look. "you may go." mr bustman agrees.
we walk over to the table and sit down.
"what was that all about?" will asks, el nods.
"Mr bustman being a stupid, shitty teacher." I mumble, picking at my food.
"he thought we were dating.. like ew no way." mike adds.
"ew?!" I question.
"because Im not into girls, not because you're 'ew'!" he corrects himself.
"what I thought."
el and will giggle, mike rolls his eyes.

after we finished eating we got into our pyjamas and sat in our tent.
"do you guys wanna play a game?" will said while zipping up the tent.
"what game?" i ask
"i brought UNO!" el smiles, how could we say no.
we all sit in a circle, and put the deck of cards in front of us, el gives us each 7 cards. i smile as i look at my hand of cards, mike is going down.
el sets down a green seven, i put down a green one, mike puts down a green skip your turn, will rolls his eyes.
we keep on playing for 10 ish minutes, when i decide to get my revenge on Michael for being a total dick earlier, even if it was all a joke.
i place down a pickup four card, mike turns to me with his jaw hanging. "karma is a bitch Michael." i giggle.
mike picks up his cards and rolls his eyes, i guess he didn't get good cards.
a hour-ish later!
we played a few rounds until we started to get tired, we lied down in our sleeping bags and talked for a little bit until we heard quite snoring, i'm pretty sure it's el cause she hasn't said a word for like 10 minutes, i turn my head over to her and she's fast asleep. "guess now it's just us three" will says.
"hey guys." mike says,
"hm?" me and will question.
"do you find me annoying?"
"no! whenever i say that i'm obviously joking mike, you're my best friend!" i say
"yeah, and i'm your boyfriend! of course we find your little jokes stupid, but not annoying!"
"okay cause, holly calls me annoying all the time."
"mike.. isn't she six." i say
"yeah?"
me and will just stay silent for a second, "she's six.. mike, is what your six year old sister says to you affecting you?" will giggles
"hey max." mike says
"yeah?"
"i'm sorry for being rude to you today, even if it was a joke."
"oh, don't be sorry."
"okay, goodnight, i love you guys." mike says, kinda shocked he said that to me..
"goodnight." me and will say in unison before going to sleep.
