"WELCOME HOME!!"

i literally jump back.

these people have a thing for scaring me?

i just smile. i use my crutches to walk up to all of them and give them a big hug.

"i've missed you all." i say, grinning.

i'm finally feeling.. myself, again. sorta.

i'm so happy to be home, especially surrounded by my friends.

i walk over to my kitchen and immediately go for the cookies.

"UGHHHHHHHHHH." i groan.

"what's up??" mike asks.

"we're out of cookies!"

everyone starts to laugh, i just stand there staring at them all. "yeah soooo funny."

suddenly we hear a knock at the door.

i go over to the door and open it,

Alice?!

Alice is this annoying girl from chemistry, also in will and my art class.

"oh. hi?" i say, questioning why she's at my doorstep.

"oh, hey! i'm selling cookies you want to buy some? $1.50 per box!" Alice says with a beaming smile, i'll have nightmares of this girl.

but, it is cookies..

"what flavours do you have?"

"mint, vanilla, and chocolate!"

"i'll take 2 box's of chocolate." i say, i reach into my pocket for money, of course i don't have any, these pockets are empty.

i turn to the rest of the group, will is trying to hide himself behind mike.

"anyone got any money?" i ask.

mike smiles and takes out some money, he realizes that it might be a struggle for me to walk up to him, so making my life easier he walks up to me, revealing wills hiding spot.

i turn to give her the money, she has literal heart eyes.

"OH MY GOD, WILLLY!" she squeals.

"hi.." will awkwardly says.

"we should go out tonight, we can go to enz-" i quickly cut her off by dropping the money in her hand and taking the cookies, i then proceed to slam the door.

"god i wish i could smack that bitch with my crutches." i say, making the others giggle.

"she's so annoying!" mike says, honestly i could tell he felt like Alice was a threat to him and wills relationship, but he's so wrong, will hates her! the way she always flirts with him is so annoying.

we sit down on the couch and watch a movie. of course, eating the cookies.

"so max, you going back to school tomorrow?" lucas and dustin both say at the same time, their mouths filled with food. gross!

"first of all, chew with your mouth closed! it's disgusting! and yes, sadly.." i giggle.

as the sky darkens, i notice el drifting asleep on my shoulder. she must be so tired. dustin noticed el falling asleep so he checks the time on his watch, "shit!" he raises his voice, "LUCAS, it's 9:32, CURFEW!" the two boys panic and quickly run out of the house, "BYE, NICE TO SEE YOU! GLAD YOURE DOING BETTER!!" they say, running down the street.

i smiles, then frown.

"what's up?" will asks.

"i miss skateboarding" i sigh.

"you'll live!" mike cheerily says.

"or die." i roll my eyes.

they both roll their eyes back at me.

"help me get her to my room." i say, pointing at el.

"cant you do it yourself?" mike questions.

will and i give him a smart look.

"i hope you're being sarcastic." i scoff.

"huh?" mike says, cluelessly.

"she can barley walk, how can she carry el?" will points out.

"oh, right.." mike says, he proceeds to help will carry el to my bed, i walk slowly behind them.

"thanks." i smile.

mike and will smile back.

"we should go, it's late!" will suggests.

"okay! thanks for everything." i say.

they hold hands and walk cheerfully out of my house.

i then flop myself down on the bed, setting my crutches down next to my bed side table. i turn off the lamp, and cuddle el, i fall asleep shortly after.

---- THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL!

wills pov!

i walk into art, max is already sitting down our desk, doodling something on her paper.

i notice Alice, staring at my seat. ew is she waiting for me?

when i sit down her face lights up, max closes her notebook not allowing me to see what she's drawing.

"hey." max smiles.

"hi!" i say.

"hey willll..! can we meet at your locker later, it's urgent!" alice squeals

"uh.. okay?" i agree.

i look at max and she's giving Alice a dirty look.

i hold back my laugh.

--- after class (lunch time)

i put my art book i'm my locker, i'm met by el, mike, and max at my locker. i smile and greet them, that's when i see Alice, rushing towards me.

"WILL!!!!"

mike rolls his eyes.

"hi."

she stands i front of me and kisses my cheek, i pull away faster than lightning, max and els jaw are to the floor. mike look, angry.

he slaps alice.

"OWWWUHHHH!" she cries out, i doubt it even hurt.

"leave my boyfriend alone, ugly ass bitch, before i run you over with my sisters car."

i'm shocked.

she turns to run away.

"OUT OF MY WAY, GINGY!" she shoves max out of the way and runs into the cafeteria.

max scoffs.
