When I was 15, I had my daughter, Katelyn, with my ex boyfriend. I was shocked and I panicked. I told Dylan, my ex and he left me because of her. I was devastated but I moved on. My parents were disappointed but they accepted it. I gave birth to a 9 pound baby girl and I was overwhelmed but happy. I had the nine months to accept becoming a mom.
Now she's 2 and is very happy all the time. Today me and my best friend, Sasha is going to football match, Chelsea F.C v Borussia Dortmund. I pull on my Chelsea jersey and smile. "Is Kate coming?" asked Sasha, smiling. "Yeah, she is" I said. I have Kate in a jersey, a Chilwell jersey and I have a Mount jersey on.
We get in the car. "Mama.... I excited" said Kate. "So am I, sweetie" I said. We get there and I park. We get out and go inside after showing our tickets. We go to the food stops to get hot dogs and drinks. We find our seats and sit down. I smile and look around. I notice a man or should I say boy sitting beside me. "Hi, you look just like Jude Bellingham" I said, smiling. "That's cause his my older brother. I'm Jobe" said Jobe. "Holy shit.... hi. I'm River and this is Katelyn, my daughter" I said. "And I'm Sasha, her best friend" said Sasha, smirking. "Your 17 right?" asked Jobe. "Yup. Kate's 2" I said. "Wow.... where is the dad?" asked Jobe, looking at me. "Left me the minute I said pregnant" I said, looking down. "Oh... what a doodoo" said Jobe, not saying dick cause of Kate listening.
I smile and he looks around. "Who you up for?" asked Jobe. "Chelsea, and I assume your Dortmund" I said, smiling. "Oh yeah" said Jobe, smiling. I laugh and lean back. The match begins and I watch as Mason Mount scores the first goal. I cheer. Kate cheers too. "I see your daughter love football" said Jobe. "Yeah, gets it from me and my dad" I said, smiling. "Who does your dad support?" asked Jobe, smiling. "Chelsea, family team to be honest" I said, smiling. "Wow" said Jobe, smiling. I nod and Chelsea ends up winning. I pick Kate up and go to leave.
Once we get home, I get a notifiction that Jobe followed me. I smile and follow him back. I go get Kate's dinner ready and she digs in. I hear my phone and I open it.
Jobe: Hey :)
River: Hey :)
Jobe: What are you up too?
River: Feeding Kate her dinner, she's loving it currently :P
Jobe: So... I was wondering if you'd like to go out sometime? I know you and Kate are a package deal and you could worry about me being 17 and being tied down to you with a kid but I want to go on a date or even just hang out to see if we could be a couple, I don't want to mess you or Kate around.... sorry I made a bags of it!
River: No, you didn't and I'd love to go on a date with you but we'd have to go slow because I don't want Kate to get too attached if we don't make it.
Jobe: 7pm tomorrow night?
River: Ok, I can send my number and address :) 440 782 739 and 43 London Road, Fullham, London :)
Jobe: Thank you! my number is 827 291 320 :)
River: Better go,, Kate currently annoyed at me :D
He says bye and I clean Kate up. I give her a bath and let her watch Paw Patrol before going to bed.
Next day, my mum says she'll babysit and I go get ready.

I pull on my pink dress and a pair of white heels. I curl my hair and do light make up. I smile and step out. "Mama pretty" said Kate, smiling. "So are you, sweetie" I said, kissing her cheek. Soon we hear a knock on the door and I open it. Jobe smiles and waves. "Hi, you look beautiful" said Jobe. "So do you" I said. He hands me roses. "Thank you! I love them!" I said. Mum smiles. "I'll put them in a vase, go out and have fun" said mum. I hug her and we leave.
We get to this restaurant and sit down. "So, what's Kate's personality like?" asked Jobe. I giggle. "Funny. She does some funny stuff sometimes. She loves food and Paw Patrol." I said. "Wow, everyone loves food" said Jobe, smiling. "They do, I love food too, she got it from me" I said, smiling. We order our food and we relax. Afterwards, we go to the park and sit down on the bench. I smile and he smiles.
"I never dated anyone before, River. I was always busy with football and I just.... when I met you, I realised that I need to also prioritise having a happy relationship." said Jobe. "I only dated Dylan and ugh.... I regret everything" I said. "I hate him for you, you didn't deserve that" said Jobe, looking at me. I shrug. "Maybe it worked out for the better, because I met you" I said. "True, I get the two amazing girls" said Jobe. I laugh and lean my head against his shoulder.
After going on dates for a while, we end up dating officially. Kate adores him and called him daddy when we were at our six month anniersary.
We know we're gonna last, because we built a friendship before becoming official.
