This Christmas is a weird one with the World Cup, Declan has been gone for nearly a month or two and his coming home today after losing against France. I was devastated, I was out there but had to come home early because our daughter, Jade, got sick while my mum was babysitting her. Declan understood and wanted to come with me but I told him no. Now, his coming home and wants a list. A list of presents I want off him but I don't want presents. I want him and Jade, that's it. I need to figure out how to tell him.

"Baby! I am home!" said Declan, walking inside. I walk to him and kiss him. "I missed you, even though I saw you last week" I said. "Same here, how's Jadey?" asked Declan. "Much better, she is eating and has good energy" I said, rubbing his cheeks. "I love you" said Declan. "I love you too, my love" I said, kissing him. Jade runs out and smiles. "Daddy!" said Jade, hugging him. "I missed you, my sweet girl" said Declan. "Daddy! I love you! I'm sorry you didn't win" said Jade, our 4 year old. "I know but we will try at the Euros my sweet girl" said Declan, smiling.

Jade goes to her room and I smile. "Baby, what do you want for Christmas?" asked Declan. "Bubs, no.... I don't want anything but you for Christmas, my love" I said. "Baby, I want to buy you something" said Declan, rubbing my back. "Bubs.... Please" I said, smiling. "Hmmmm, I will surprise you then" said Declan, smirking. I shake my head and kiss him. He kisses back and we order pizza.

As we get closer to the day, Declan is acting suspicious but I ignore it. I don't know what his plan is but I don't know. I have Declan's present, which I loved picking it out. I smile and look at Jade, smiling.

It's Christmas morning and Declan wakes me up with kisses on my cheek. "Morning, my love. Merry Christmas" said Declan, smiling. "Merry Christmas" I said, kissing him. "Mama! Daddy! PRESENTS!" said Jade, jumping. We sit up and go downstairs. Jade opens her presents and then Declan hands me a box. "I hope you like it" said Declan, smiling. I open it and gasp. A massive board with pictures of me and Declan from the beginning to now, Jade is in some. I gasp. "You asked for me for Christmas so I decided on this board, all our pictures from the start to now. Look at the bottom" said Declan, smiling. I take out another board, pictures of Declan. I smile and take out a letter. I open it and begin to read.
Kay-Kay,
We've been together 6 years and you never ask for much. This year you asked for me, so here we are. I have made a board for us with all our photos from the beginning to now, and another one with just me cause you asked for me. You can look at the pictures when I'm gone on away games, during the Euro's, World Cups, etc. I love you, my sweet Kay-Kay.

I look up and his holding a ring. "My Kay, surprise. I love you and I know your the one for me. I want to know... Will you marry me?" asked Declan. I gasp. "YES!" I said, smiling. He slides the ring on and kisses me.
