You are in college and neglect him

Your POV:

I got into Oxford and I live in their accomdation. Jude lives in Germany and I wish that he lived in the UK but he doesn't. I was asked to go to the World Cup for England but I couldn't go. Jude was devastated but I can't just drop everythng for him or football. My parents think I'm crazy for not being more loving towards him. I'm 19, I don't see our relationship as lasting for years, I mean who knows. We may get married, we may not. I don't know. 

Jude's POV:

I'm at home with my mum and dad and brother for Christmas and New Years. Now, Livie is ignoring me for college. I mean I understand studying to be a lawyer is hard but I just.... I want time with my girlfriend but how can I spend time with her if she doesn't ever visit me. "Hey bro, is Livie spending New Years with us?" asked Jobe, smiling. "No. She's spending it with her flatmates" I said. "Oh but why is she not with you" said Jobe, looking at me. "I don't know, ever since she joined college, she had less time for me and always going out every weekend. And she went home for Halloween but couldn't evn try to support me at the world cup" I said, "Wow" said Jobe. I sigh and look down. 

I rub my face and hear my phone beep.

I roll my eyes and show Jobe. "Any shorter and I think she doesn't give a shit" said Jobe. "You think?" I ask. "Yeah. Jude, if she doesn't appeciate you, then leave her" said Jobe. I shake my head. I go downstairs and mum is making dinner. Dad smiles at me. "Jobe told me just there, she is neglecting you" said mum. 

I sigh and help her. We enjoy our dinner when Jobe jumps. "How about we spy on Livie? Please, is she cheating or is she just actively ignoring you" said Jobe. "Jobe..... no.... ok fine" I said. Mum smiles. "I don't agree with spying but you need to know" said mum. I nod and look down. I go get changed and then I stop. "Jobe! Your under 18, you can't drink or get into bars after 9!" I said. "Please, I have a fake id" said Jobe. "Seriously" I said. He nods.

He gets ready and we leave. I track her phone and see she's at this bar that has a bad reputation. "Jobe, maybe we shouldn't go inside" I said. "Please, lets go" said Jobe. I sigh and we go inside. 

"There she is" said Jobe. I walk over and look at her. "Livie" I said. "Jude!" said Livie. I sigh. "Can we speak outside?" I ask. "Fine.... Jobe?" asked Livie. "Yeah lets go, we're getting weird looks" I said. We go outside and Jobe goes sits on the bench. 

"Livie, why have you distanced yourself from me?" I ask. "I-I... college" said Livie. "College is not an excuse! Loads of footballers had girlfriends in college! Harry Kane and Kate got through college." I said. "I-I" said Livie. 

"Liv, tell me do you see a future with me?" I ask. "Jude, we're 19" said Livie. "I think that answers it. I want a family, marriage with you in the future. Harry and Kate, their childhood sweethearts, they got through everything but you ignore me. I'm.... we're done" I said. I turn around. "Jude" said Livie. "No, Livie. You never made time for me and you literally don't see a future with me. Why?" I ask. "Our age and I honestly don't know what I want with my life other then becoming a lawyer." said Livie. "And that's why I'm dumping you. You want something different and I want something else. Me and Jobe are going home and you can stay here. Bye" I said. Jobe walks over and we get an Uber home. 

Mum and dad are surprised but happy. 

I stayed single for a while before meeting Cassidy, who wanted to support me whenever and however they wanted too. We fall in love and she wanted what I wanted.
