You meet him at a Christmas party
YOUR POV:
Today I am going to my friend's Christmas party, Alexis Mac Allister. I pull on a red dress and red heels. I curl my hair and do light make up. I smile and go downstairs. Camila, Alexis' girlfriend is here, dressed too. I smile at her and hug her.
"You look amazing!" said Camila, smiling. "So do you! Let's go!" I said. We walk towards the house once we get out of the Uber. We go inside and Alexis wedges his way over. "Hey baby and hey Yassmin! I see your both wearing red" said Alexis, smiling. "Yeah, Christmas spirit!" I said, smiling. Alexis chuckles and hugs me. He kisses Camila and they leave to the kitchen. I go grab a cup and pour some wine in. I smile and go outside. I lean against the wall and watch people party.
"What's a pretty lady like you doing all by yourself?" asked Enzo Fernandez. I sigh and look at him. "I'm good, Alexis went with Cami. Congratulations on winning the World Cup" I said, smiling. "Thank you, want a top up?" asked Enzo. "Uh... sure" I said, smiling. He takes my glass and goes into the kitchen. Alexis walks over and smirks. "Cami's going for a wee, you ok?" asked Alexis, smiling. I nod. "Here you go, pretty lady" said Enzo. "Enzo! You met Yassmin, my best friend" said Alexis.
"Hi! Wow, I knew you looked familiar" said Enzo, smiling. "Yeah, it's nice to meet you" I said. "You too" said Enzo. "Flirting with my best friend" said Alexis, smirking. I laugh and shake my head. "I'll leave you two to get to know each other, but no hurting my best friend slash sister" said Alexis, smirking. He walks away and I giggle.
"Is he always like that?" asked Enzo, nodding. "Yup" I said, smiling. He smiles back and leans against the wall beside me. "You look beautiful" said Enzo, smiling. I blush. "Thank you" I said. "Who are you spending Christmas with?" asked Enzo. "Um... no one. My family live in America and I can't get the time off" I said. "Spend it with me. I mean, I'm spending it alone too by complete accident. My parents are in Canada for the holidays so, how about it?" asked Enzo. I nod. "Ok, sure" I said, smiling.
After that, we did get together on Christmas Eve. We order pizza and then we relax on the sofa. "So, what's it like being a footballer?" I ask, leaning back. "Good.... I enjoy it. It's fun" said Enzo, smiling. I laugh and we go to bed at 11.
After that, we began dating and years later, on the 23rd December, we got married since it was the day we met at the party!
