Shadows danced around the room as Wednesday waited biding her time for the perfect opportunity to sneak out of the quiet house. She waited for a few hours until she was sure that Enid was fast asleep beside her, Wednesday took it as her time to execute her plan. Carefully she removed the covers from herself and silently slipped off of the bed. Wednesday silently crept around the room grabbing her supplies that were hidden in a backpack underneath Enid's bed. Putting on her her tall black lace-up boots she made her way to the window. She double checked her bag making sure that she had everything she needed for her plan. Cautiously she lifted the window to Enid's room and slipped out onto the roof just below making sure to close the window behind her in fear that a change in the room's temperature might wake her bestfriend.
Wednesday carefully lowered herself from the roof dropping a few feet into the soft grass at the front of the house. Clouds were covering the night sky allowing for only a few reflections of light to illuminate her surroundings. She made her way over to Roman's truck, stopping by the side mirror to finish preparing herself for her mission. She had made sure to wash herself with different kinds of soaps and shampoo, particularly ones that she would never use, in order to hide her scent from any werewolf's heightened sense of smell. Wednesday tied her hair up into a bun intent on not allowing any hair to fall onto the ground of what would surely become a crime scene. Once her hair was no longer an issue she carefully slipped the black gloves onto her hands so as to prevent any fingerprints from even touching her outfit, or weapons.
Reaching into her backpack she produced the black robe of the costume she had procured when they had gone to the amusement park. Wednesday had slipped away, wandering around the park and into a costume shop that was stocked full of options of attire that she could use to help hide her identity. Of course Wednesday had already known about their abundant selection thanks to Thing's diligent research on her phone. Then when they had gone to get the chickens for the hunt, the location was right next to a sporting goods store where she had managed to purchase the baseball bat, knife, a rather small roll of duct tape, and even the gloves that allowed for to keep her grip on the hilt of the blade should her hands get wet. Once she had pulled the raven black robe over her head, all that was left was to put on the mask.
Along with the mask Wednesday also pulled out the black eye shadow she usually wore. Removing one of her gloves to apply the eyeshadow, she dunked her fingers in it rubbing them over and under both of her eyelids and a bit beyond. Wednesday took a moment to stare into the droopy soulless black eyes of the white mask. Its gaunt features and long mouth gave the expression of a screaming ghost. Wednesday hadn't known why she had picked that specific mask, something about its design had just stuck out to her in the moment. The shroud helped to block out the rest of her defining features making it extremely difficult to tell just who was under the mask. Once she had the mask fitted onto her face she pulled the hood of the robe up and kicked the backpack underneath the truck. Slowly and methodically she began stalking her way towards the pack house. Her vision was obscured only slightly which made getting around far easier than she had anticipated
She walked along the woodline stalking her way through the first layer of trees. The night was quiet except for the sound of owls, and bugs along with the soft crunch of sticks beneath her boots. Thing trailed behind her making a soft patter as his fingers traversed the soil. Everything was going according to her plan, that was until she heard the sound of tires rolling over wet pavement. Thinking quickly she ducked deeper into the woodline, crouching behind a large tree. She watched as the headlights illuminated the first few rows of trees. She held her breath until the car had passed and the red luminescent lights of the cars taillights disappeared from her sight.
