A batch of armed men surrounded the hospital and a few of them walked in.
"Excuse me, where are you going?" The receptionist questioned when she spotted the forearmed force walking ahead.
The nurse present there shared glances with the receptionist before she too tried to intervene, "Sir."
The men were like robots who were aware of their destination. The nurse took a few steps but her path was blocked by a man having a rugged appearance. His one gaze was enough to cease her steps. His aura had scared the nurse. Besides, that wasn't her first encounter with him. She couldn't move with shock while he walked past her when he observed the receptionist trying to make a call. He snatched the receiver and put it back before he showed her his id that stated he was a cop. The receptionist gulped in fear.
After that, the cop nodded at two of the men who stood beside the staff after accumulating them in one place. The cop noticed people being worried, panicked. They all were holding their near and dear ones close.
"Guys, don't be scared. I am a cop and we are just here for a small interrogation." He assured the others.
On the floor where Aditi's room was, Reyansh and Dhriti heard a sudden commotion, edgy voices, and synced rushing footsteps. They both got startled and got the idea that something was not conventional.
"Stay here, I will look into it," Reyansh said to Dhriti. Just when he was about to leave five armed men had already reached them.
"You all will have to come with us," One of them said. By Reyansh's look it was clear to Dhriti they were not a good sign so she resolutely stated, "We are not going anywhere."
She slightly turned towards the room of Aditi but was stopped by two of the five men. Aditi was alarmed and started pushing them off.
"Calm down, we are not your enemies." The cop said coming towards them. Reyansh instantly identified him and was stunned.
"Kevin."
"You know him?" Dhriti queried and in response, Reyansh nodded.
"It's Aahir's orders. We need to evacuate because the enemies are here already at the back exit. We don't have time to waste." Kevin informed both of the agitated beings.
After Kevin made sure Aditi along with Dhriti and Reyansh were safely at Aahir's place he opted to leave.
"Where are you going?" Reyansh asked.
"To Aahir."
Kevin Davis was a twisted cop who had his peculiar ways to have his tasks accomplished. If not legal then he would choose an illegal way but he would always finish his job. Furthermore, his team weren't cops like him, but the thugs he had trained.

Aahir's vehicle was running amok on the road. He only intended to do one thing: annihilation. He wasn't alone. Damien and the other members of his team were behind him, trying to gain on him.
He recalled, before rescuing Aditi he had spotted a car outside the premises that ended with 2567. He was driving like a beast on the stranded lane following the same vehicle he had tracked down. Just when Aahir found the right opportunity, he pulled out his gun and fired at the tyre of the vehicle ahead.
Since they all were in the dark alley of the city there was no sign of habitat except for a way that led to woods filled with minacious animals.
The bullet from Aahir's gun hit the right spot and the car lost its balance. It rammed into a tree on the extreme right of the way. The driver got out and so did the one he was accompanied with. Their bodies were covered with blood. The driver attempted to escape limping and his partner was hardly able to crawl away to a safer place.
