138 - Harrenhal
"I would like to keep the Riverlands men here. Herrenhal will become our main base. Please send word to Dalton. He can have his fun with the Westlands, and seeing as how they have chosen to side with the Greens, it would only be fit that their ports burn that colour," "We will not be fighting with the North, even with the advantage of men the north would win,"
"I will send word to the Iron Fleet," Rob tells Visenya, and she nods as she looks at the war table in front of them.
They have the numbers for men, not to mention the majority support of the kingdoms, but the knowledge of the number of dragons on both sides have weighed heavy on her. She knows the history well enough that a strong army of men wouldn't be enough to win against the dragons.
"We need more dragons. The Black could win with the number of dragons they have," Visenya tells the group. Many of the Lords are already talking amongst themselves, but Rob hears her.
"Morghon is the only one that has been to war besides Vhagar," Rob points out as he leans on the table beside Visenya.
"He is still young, and one dragon can not possibly survive against 13 or 4," Visenya tells him. She knows that Morghon would be able to hold his own against one, maybe two, dragons, but he is still young, and she worries about him.
Visenya looks at Dragonstone on the map. Three unclaimed dragons nest there. Three chances of gaining a dragon.
"What are you thinking?" Rob asks her quietly, gently knocking their shoulders together.
Visenya stands up straighter and clears her throat. All the Lords in the room look at her, and the rooms get so quiet that she is sure a pin could be heard if dropped. Visenya swallows as she looks across the room. She wasn't used to having so many people's attention on her, waiting for her to talk. This isn't the same as leading her men or making battle plans and sharing them. All these lords would send their men to their death if she asked and would follow them.
"Lord Tully be in charge in my absence," Visenya tells them as she nods towards the lords. She doesn't give them enough time to ask where she is going before making her way out of the room.
Rob and Ben share a look before following after her. Rob to make sure that she isn't going to burn Dragonstone or King's Landing to the ground, and Ben to see if she will be needing any help to her advantage.
"Visenya, where are you going?" Rob asks as he and Ben catch up with Visenya, walking on either side of her.
"We need a dragon that will easily win in a fight," Visenya answers as she walks down the hallway, the few men they pass bow their heads down in respect to the trio.
"Vhagar?" Ben asks, he misses the banter he has with the one-eyed prince, and he knows that if Aemond were with them, then maybe he would be able to help reason with Visenya.
"Yes, but I have another in mind," Visenya answers. She knows that Vhagar would be a good dragon to have on their side, but she doesn't know if she will be able to face her rider yet. "The Cannibal,"
"Who?" Rob asks as Ben grabs Visenya's arm, stopping her.
"He is a wild dragon that lives on Dragonstone. Are you going to Dragonstone?" Ben asks. He will have to go with her if she is.
"We need another dragon," Visenya answers as she pulls her arm out of his hold. She knows this is a bad idea, but they need another dragon.
"And who is going to bond with this dragon?" Ben asks as he follows after her. Rob follows as he listens to the conversation. Out of the two, Ben is the one who knows about dragons and the other Targaryen traditions.
