Pouring red
Canada Dry
Into my wine glass
I taste red
Of desire and demons
That once stole my
Heart
My life
My will
I taste the sweetness
In bittersweet
As I always have
Unknown to all
Others are bitter
Bitches
When they see this
But I don't care
About them
Anymore
I taste like wine
On my lips
A sweet dream to hush
One to sleep
In the same sip
I am a reckless night
Restless and forgotten
Establishing regret
Revenge through independence
The reality kills
As morning sunlight
Filters through any
Window
I taste red
Pouring red
Canada Dry
Into my wine glass
Love and desire
I face freedom
Warmth from my own
World.
