She was a raging fire
A wildfire
No boundary could contain
The desire in her eyes
She was everything to me
We were unstoppable
A blazing boundary
Of time burdened us
The sand in the hourglass
Captured my heart
Time burdened
What we had become
She was a raging fire
I was once cold
Though now I rage a war
Remembrance of the burns
That scar my heart
The hourglass and time
Seeps away
Singes at the seams
Since we have said
Goodbye.
