Saw you in my dreams
The moment I start missing you
You come back
You always do
Effortlessly
Some twisted destiny
The initial day
Led me many eras astray
My path perished
All but now was quiet
Remained silent
Until one night
In the night
Visions clouded me
A new reflection
Reclaimed direction
If my visions are meant for nothingness
Perish in the darkness
As I lie awake
And lie to myself
Why must you
Always return?
You are just a past time
A fantasy in my mind
That was once me
It was never you
Merely a mindscape
A dream in the daylight
I'd never dream to call
Mine
Yet here you are
I am far behind
Divided in desire
Trying to piece this fate
Back together
This was the future
We once thought about
But for it to happen
Merely a passing piece
Of the last mentions
Of the lost youth
What I have seen is to be nothingness
To me
Yet I must be
Some escape for you
If you come back
Nights like this I wonder
When I'm with wine and fine women
By the fireside
I desire
Thinking of you
Lost time and passing seconds
Each moment is precious
Wasted away by a thread
That never was existent by default
Though nonexistence henceforth
Brings resistance
Revolution of fate and mind
Distant love
