Saw a Divided Sky
A striking sight
If abandoning aftermath
With all afterthoughts
The sunset hits the nightfall
A scene so serene
Yet solemn
As all I ever had known
Disperses before I have a chance
To remember
Under the Divided Sky
Remnants of you
Can be found
Were found
In a fleeting moment
I wish now, to forget
Longing of a distant love
Yet my gaze is always captured
By a past
The past
My past
That can never seem to
Disappear
Unforgiving and unforgettable
Never to leave me alone
I wish you well
I give you hope
I hope you see me in the sunset
You used to take for granted
I wish you feel wrath in the darkness
By which you are forever bound
I was once
We once were
Something to adore
Under every existent sky
A dream within reality
Shattered by the demise
By the paths that take us
Away
Under the Divided Sky
The sunset reminds me of you
Even though you laugh at beautiful things
I hope
I wish
That beautiful things
Are upon you.
