Your paranoia is poison
I don't want to be that girl again
Why won't you listen
And leave me alone?
Your whispers are trying to wage a war
But I assure you they are nothing to me
So don't bother
You won't get any farther
Trying to unravel the wrath
Of me
You make me wanna hate myself
Because I see who I once was
In you
Your paranoia is poison
We are not the same
Not meant to be
Why must you try to kill me?
I was just like you when I was younger
Although it you're a lifetime older
You ought to learn this lesson from me
You won't get any farther
If you are nothing to yourself
You'll be nothing to everyone else
Paranoia was poison
My poison
It almost killed me
Taking me under to drown
Because I didn't dare dig myself out
Paranoia was my poison
Pick your poison
Choose your warrior
Because this is your battle
You won't get any farther
If you can't fend for yourself
Paranoia is your poison
Your weapon of mutually assured destruction
Paranoia was my poison
So I wish to see you gone
Otherwise this war
Ought to wage on
Your whispers mean nothing
Fade to nothingness as you weep
Paranoia was my poison
And could be a thing of the past
For you, too
Don't let it kill you.
