Striker woke the next day. "Oh shit!" He sat up and Lena groaned clinging to his front. "Oh... sorry pumpkin..." he chuckled and rubbed her back then kissed her head. "How 'bout some breakfast then we go visit Jackson?"
Lena smiled and kissed his snoot. "Okay... but yer cooking. Imma go shower."
"Alright." They stood, tails still intertwined, slowly separating as they went to opposite directions.

After breakfast and morning chores they got in the truck and headed off to see Jackson's Orchard. Seeing the rows of trees neatly organized and separated; oranges, apples, peaches and plums.
Lena hung her head out the window. "Oh wow... so much fruit."
"Mhm, wait til ya meet the family what lives with him." Striker smiled as the pulled up by the house. He got out and walked around helping her out of the truck only to be greeted by the icehound that Jackson kept.
He ran up and barked at them. Lena offering a hand that he sniffed at.
"Bubba, whatcha barking about?" Jackson asked then straightened his straw hat. "Well I'll be. Striker ya actually came to see me and my hounds?"
"That we did." Striker said.
Lena smiled some and Bubba nudged her. She rubbed his ears then shook her claws. "Oh gosh he's so cold!"
"He's an icehound, keeps the hellcats and other naughty fire fauna outta my orchard. Also keeps the bees corralled." Jacksone chuckled.
"Bees?" She asked.
"Mhm, hellbees, each fruit patch has its own hive. Each hive of bees has its own color thanks to the different fruits. So if a bee strays Bubba here gives then a little snort to move." The incubus explained.
"That's pretty neat."
"Wait until you see the little hellhound family that lives here and helps me. " Jackson smiled. "They are just as unique as Bubba."
Striker smiled and walked with her as Jackson lead them to a second house in the middle of the orchard. "Heyo Crewe Family!"
Four hellhounds stepped out. A large very typical husky looking hound, typical black and white fur. This was Ranger, the father. The mother Aurora was next, she looked very much like a toasted marshmallow. Their son Comet came out next, looking a lot like his dad but his black was more silver. Then there was little Cinnamon and just like her namesake she was a cinnamon husky. The odd thin about them was that instead of the typical red and silver eyes, they had ice blue and silver eyes. "This is Ranger, Aurora, Comet and Cinnamon. The four hellhounds that help me take care of the orchard."
Lena stared, shocked and in awe. She had always thought Hellhounds had to have red and silver eyes, but this ice blue and silver hit such a stark contrast to their fur that it made sense.
"Howdy." The four hounds greeted.
Cinnamon skittered over to Lena and knelt down, nose gently touching her belly.
"Cinnamon..." Aurora sighed.
"Mama she's gonna have little one." Cinnamon wagged her curled tail.
Lena giggled and nodded. "Mhm, and it's gonna be a little girl."
Striker smiled some and coiled his tail with hers, Lena purring softly.
Cinnamon giggled some and got up running back to her mom. "She's got a baby in her belly mama."
Aurora chuckled some and picked her up. "Hopefully she isn't as rambunctious as you Cinnastick."
Ranger smiled and went to work, Comet checking the plums.
Jackson smiled. "I own the property but they work the land much better than I can. I work with the bees they work the trees and we both benefit."
Lena smiled some and nodded.
Aurora grinned. "I turn all the fruit into pies, jams, syrup, and a multitude of other things."
"I help!" Cinnamon giggled.
"Yep she sure does."
"Oh! Speaking of which Aurora do you have the syrups and jams and such ready?" Jackson asked.
Aurora nodded some. "In the little crate right here, marked and labeled."
Cinnamon smiled. "I put the pawprint on the labels!"
Lena smiled and wagged her tail.
Jackson grabbed the crate, handing it to Striker and he took it. Inside was a jar if apple sauce, butter and juice, Peach jam and syrup, orange juice and candied peels, and then some straight up fruits picked from the trees. "Figured until yours start giving fruit, ya'll would enjoy these."
The labels were all Crewe Family with the pawprint. Saying what it was and the calculated nutritional values along with the ingredients list.
Striker loaded it in the truck and pulled some out of the back end of the truck. "This is for the trees." It was a crate of the same size filled with compost and fertilizer.
"Plums will love this... they are looking a little down trodden." Jackson chuckled taking the crate, Ranger taking it from him and helping Comet spread it by the plum trees.
"Ya'll want some pie?" Aurora asked. "Or cobbler?"
Lena smiled some. "Pie sounds good!"

They all settled in for some fresh apple pie and milk. Aurora smiling at the compliments and Cinnamon explaining how she helped her mom. Lena smiling some at them at all.
Striker turned to her. "Lena... ya said ya wanted to be married before the baby came."
"Yeah..."
"What if we got married on the 21st?"
"Striker... that's only a few days away."
"Ah know and Ah planned everything... all ya need is a dress."
"Are you... Striker oh gosh are ya serious babe?"
"Yes." He said and held her as she lunged at him and hugged him close.
Aurora smiled and wagged her tail. Jacksone nodding. "I knew ya'll were perfect." He chuckled. Ranger nodded, "Congrats."
Lena blushed and Striker held her.

After a nice visit and Striker formally inviting them to the wedding they left and headed home. Lena was definitely gonna have to call in Sueann and Rita to help her pick a dress.
