The first time Chaz babysat was an adventure of errors, issues and hijinks that rivaled a Loony Toons episode.
Chaz was left with little nipper all day after morning chores were done. Aside from caring for little Havu he would also have to feed the animals dinner. Astrila would be sure to remind him what time their dinner was.
It started out as a good day, normal breakfast where little Havu fed herself with little issue, cleaning her up followed by going outside to play with Astrila and Rosie. Chaz keeping a close eye on things. Things somehow spiraled out of control...
A Great Dane looking hellhound showed up. She was pissed it seemed. Chaz had no idea what was going on. They hadn't been expecting guests at all. Otherwise they would have said so right?
This Dane Dame was Tiny's sister, Tina. Apparently she found out how her little brother died and she came to collect revenge due. Unfortunately the killer was nowhere to be seen. "Where are they!?" She snapped.
"Who?" Chaz asked blocking her path.
"The assholes that killed my little brother!"
"Ma'am I'm just the babysitter I have no idea who yer looking for, but they aren't home." Chaz said.
"That so, maybe it's time I took something precious then!" Tina growled and moved over to the fence. Chaz tried his best to block her path but this dame was huge. She hopped the fence and grabbed the little snake child. "Hello dear. Yer coming with me."
Havu looked scared. "No! Imma stay with Chazzy!" She struggled and Chaz growled, biting her arm. Astrila went for the legs, that was her person! Her sister! Her pack mate!
Tina snarled some and kicked Astrila away then fought with Chaz.
Havu whined and tried to grab Chaz. Tina managed to stun the shark with a well placed knee to his gut. He crumpled to his knees holding his stomach. "Fuck..." his fear of failure made him get up as Tina darted out of sight with Havu.
Chaz huffed some, Astrila was on her feet and sniffing. Barking at him then at Ametrine. Chaz shook his head. "Oh hell no, I dunno how to ride a horse."
Astrila barked again. He was about to learn. Chaz gave in and put Ametrine's gear on her. He mounted up and adjusted himself as Ametrine moved a little. Snorting some she looked to Rosie then Bombproof. Bombproof nodded he would watch over her.
Chaz leaned over her, Astrila took off after the scent and Ametrine followed. The trio were on a mission, save Havu. Chaz was not about to lose the one little person who actually liked him. Not just because her parents would kill him, but also because he actually cared about the little girl.
Ametrine didn't need any guiding she followed Astrila to a shack by the lava pits. Chaz could hear Havu crying and screaming then Tina telling her "Shut up Brat." Chaz growled, Astrila did too.
Astrila burst through the door, Tina turned and growled. "Mutt."
"That is a purebred Icehound ma'am!" Chaz growled.
"Chazzy!" Havu smiled, she had tears in her eyes.
"Give the child back." Chaz growled.
Tina pounced on him, the two fought. Astrila got in the mix, biting Tina.
Chaz got the upper hand and pinned her down. Astrila growling and helping hold her down. They held her down and Chaz put her inna sleeper hold, rending her unconscious.
Chaz scooped up little Havu. "Are you okay?"
Havu nodded and hugged him. Astrila nuzzling her and wagging her tail. Havu smiled and pet her dog. "Am okay." She smiled.
Chaz smiled and set her down then tied up Tina with rope.. and duckttape and left her in a locked room with no windows. He then grabbed Havu and mounted up on Ametrine. His tail around the little imp, hers coiling around him as much as it could. Astrila took the lead and led them home.
They were a good ten minutes away from home when a small group of Hellcats crossed the path. Astrila backed up as did Ametrine. The male hissed at them, swiping at the hound, barely missing her face. They waited as the family crossed. They moved on and got home just in time for the animals to bed fed.
After feeding them, Chaz made some chicken nuggets for him and Havu. "Well that was exciting..." he smiled. Havu nodded and nodded then sat on his lap. "Chazzy a hero." She smiled. He smiled and patted her head. "Yeah."
After dinner Havu got itchy and wiggled. "Ehhh.. itchy..."
Chaz smiled some. "Bathtime?"
"Yeah... can you helps?" She whined.
"Yes little snoot." He smiled and helped her in the tub. Then her skin came off and he panicked. "Havu... what... is this!?"
"Am snake... Am shed..." she said. "Can't see Chazzy... help please."
Chaz saw the skin over her eyes and steeled himself helping her get it off. "Yer gonna have to do yer intimates little lady." He stated.
"I knows!" She smiled.
Chaz was a little freaked about this still and texted her parents. [ is it normal for her to shed skin in the tub!? ]
[ Oh... it's about time, this is her third shed. Be careful afterward her skin is gonna be sensitive. In her bottom drawer, in the BLUE dressed is a lightweight outfit that should be suitable. Make sure she has a pull up on too. The outfit is GREEN. ]
Chaz did as he was told and got her in the outfit and was very careful with her. They sat on the couch, watching some old western about a talking horse. Havu curled up on him and looked up. "Can Chazzy sing?"
The shark smiled some. "Yes I can."
"Can you sing to me?" She asked.
He lowered the volume on the TV and sang a soft hellborn lullaby to her to help her sleep. Once she was asleep he was seriously gonna get up and put her to bed but... he felt too tired after fighting, panicking and riding a horse for the first time. So they passed out on the couch.
That's where Striker and Lena found them a few hours later. Chaz holding the child protectively, her snuggled into him. Striker blinked some. "Well Ah'll be hogtied... they passed out." Lena smiled some and pulled a blanket over them as Chaz lay down. "Let's let them sleep." She smiled. Striker nodded and they went to bed after locking the house up.
