HUMMING AS SHE SKIPPED DOWN THE HALL, Courtney happily approved all the Christmas decorations around her. McKinley High had a great decor team— Courtney did handpick them, after all (the team is really only made up of Courtney and some of the underclassmen who wanted to get close to her, but at least they get the job done). This year, the blonde decided to go for more of a White Christmas theme, littering the school with all sorts of blue and white decorations.

Courtney was on her way to look for her friends— she had made them each a Christmas hamper, complete with baked goods and their personalized gifts. Unfortunately, Mike wasn't coming to school today, so the girl gave him his basket yesterday (she made him promise not to open it until today).

Her first target was Quinn, who she found inside an empty classroom. The older blonde seemed to be doing homework, but directed all her attention to Courtney the moment she stepped into the room.

Quinn quirked an eyebrow, gesturing to the giant gift basket in the younger girl's arms. Flashing a smile, Courtney handed her the basket. "It's for you, Quinnie. Merry Christmas!" she beamed.

The younger blonde gifted her an entire picnic basket— filled to the brim with maternity clothes, cookies and her favourite ice cream. Quinn had been craving pickles dipped in Rocky Road ice cream lately. It was strange, but Courtney didn't dare to question the pregnant lady.

Pulling out a small jewellery box from the bottom of the basket, Quinn gasped as she opened it. "How'd you know?" she asked.

Inside the box is a pair of earrings, with small daisies dangling from the chain.

"I saw you eyeing it at the mall last week. After you left, I came back and bought it. The clerk said it was the only one they had, so I'm glad I got to it in time," she grinned.

Pulling the younger girl for a hug, Quinn thanked her. "I had the post office send your gift yesterday. It should be arriving tonight. Thank you, sweets."

"No biggie! I have to go now. Santa Courtney's got to deliver presents to other people," Courtney chirped, already halfway out the door.

The next person she bumped into was Kurt, who was standing in front of his open locker.

"Hey, Kurt!" she greeted. The boy turned to wave at her but gasped at the giant basket in her arms.

"What is that?" he screeched, his hands waving wildly at the abnormally large picnic basket.

"It's your Christmas gift!" Courtney exclaimed. Kurt could only gape and stare.

"What— For me? A-All this? For me?" he stuttered. The boy never had friends growing up, so this was all new to him. They haven't been friends for a very long time either, so the fact that Courtney got him a Christmas present was surprising to him.
