WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVING THAT Sue was leaking the set list, Mr Schue gave Jane Addams Academy a visit. Unfortunately, his cishet white male tendencies offended Mrs Hitchens. To prevent an all-out war, the man allowed the Jane Addams Academy Glee Club to use McKinley High's auditorium.
They performed Bootylicious, and it is the author's displeasure to say that he got lured in by their hairography and twerking. Courtney loved the performance— it was fun and refreshing. As she noticed Mr Schue's intimidated look, she was sure Hairography was something he would make them do next week.
Her theory was proven correct when Mr Schue introduced their new number for sectionals. They were to sing the title song from the musical Hair whilst flipping the big wigs he collected for them back and forth. Though she admired Jane Addams' rendition of Bootylicious, Courtney didn't believe in hairography. Her mother always told her that it stole focus away from a person's raw talent. It was precisely why she made the Cheerios put their hair up in a high pony.
Courtney was not looking forward to the mess this number would bring.

After hearing (ha! see that joke I made?) about the scrimmage between Jane Addams and McKinley, Mr Rumba— Haverbrook's show choir director demanded they do the same with his glee club. He claimed that Mr Schue was being discriminative for not offering the same deal he did for the "bad girls" from Jane Addams. Hence, they were to hold another mini-competition on Monday.
The New Directions performed a mashup of Crazy in Love and Hair. As they were performing, Courtney managed to sneak a peak at their audience's expressions. Interpreting a conversation between two students in her head, she came to one conclusion; they thought the New Directions were crazy. Courtney agreed. They looked insane.
Then, the Haverbrook School for the Deaf showed everyone up with their performance of Imagine.
Courtney cried that day.

After the clusterfuck that Mr Schue created last week, Courtney was glad that today was Monday. Mondays signified the start of a new week, meaning that she could leave everything that happened last week in the past. Courtney was particularly excited about this week because it's yearbook week. She was overjoyed to hear that she would have an entire spread specifically made for her.
Walking into the choir room, she saw her friends surrounding the grand piano in the middle of the room. Approaching the group of teens, she hears Kurt leading the impromptu meeting.
"Glee Club stands on a delicate precipice. We have all felt the cold humiliation of a Slushee in the face," he began.
Courtney perked up, raising her hand. "I haven't!" she cheered.
